"We could always head to the dolphin tanks first. I remember I used to love getting wet by their splashes!" Morgan suggests, already walking in that direction.
"Ugh, I could say otherwise! I don't mind swimming in sea water, but getting splashed while on dry land is not something I enjoy!" Garrett says as he follows along, shivering as the memories of catching a cold when he was in the splash zone of one resurfacing.
"I'd avoid the water if it's been stagnant this entire time, honestly. But really, that's if there's any water left at all!" Rory says, following the two.
It took a little while to get there, but they eventually made it to the aquamarine section of the zoo and to the dolphin tank. As expected, that section of the park was just as ruined as everywhere else, but what was surprising was that when Morgan turned the light onto the tank viewing window, the water appeared surprisingly clean, if not pristine!
"Whoa, how the heck is that even possible?"
"Maybe they had some kind of formula to keep the dolphins and their waters healthy?"
"Well let's take a closer look then!"
The ladder to the top of the tank was nearly falling apart when they climbed up, but it managed to hold on. Walking on the catwalks, the three lied down to get a closer look at the water. But not only was the water clean and pristine, it was reflecting a beautiful blue hue from the inner walls of the tank which also seemed to be untouched.
"Huh, I guess it must have been a new attraction they never got running?" Rory wondered aloud as he waved his hand in the water.
"Yeah, must be. Let's get off this catwalk before-"
But before Garrett could finish his sentence, the slippery wetness of the catwalk became apparent as they simultaneously fell forward when they shifted their weight to get up and splashed into the waters. Thankfully, all of them could swim, though none were too happy to get completely wet.
"Oh great, this is what I was afraid of Morgan!"
"But hey, it could have been dirty water!" Morgan argued to which Garrett paused a bit before grumbling in agreement.
"Let's just get out of here and dry off guys," Rory suggested, looking around for the ladder out...
