A whisky bottle broke with liquor boring all over the place. This was the fifth bottle Kayla Andrews threw at her 9 year old boy Phillip Andrews.
"You little shit Mario was supposed to give me some LSD tonight. I was going to have sex with him too you worthless fucking parasite."
"Mom I am sorry Mario couldn't make it tonight but I have never met him"
With precision Kayla shoot a spit ball at Phillip with the straw and paper she had gotten from the takeout.

Crying Phillip need a place to hide from one of his mom's drunken tirades. Knowing that she had her 6th bottle of wine before she started throwing things he hid in the basement because mom was going to pass out any minute and she was too lazy to chase after him in that shithole of a basement. She wasn't lying it is a shithole and smells like shit too. Phillip hated the smell but wanted to stay because any bad smell was way better than his mother,
Phillip was his mom's only child. His mother Kayla is a bad human being. She constantly abuses him verbally and physically. Phillip is lucky if he only gets slapped randomly once a day and that is if Kayla was having a great day. If she was having a shitty day poor Phillip would be beaten for hours. Kayla would also do things like play loud music right near his ear while he was sleeping especially on nights before tests for school. Kayla loved to use drugs and drink every day, she is a nymphomaniac and makes sure to have loud sex so Phillip cannot sleep at night. She keeps Phillip at home and he learns state virtual school. She demands only A's anything else results in a beating. Phillip has never gotten anything less than an A in his life. During the mandatory parent teacher conferences Kayla puts on quite a show fooling everyone to believe that she is a good human and mother. The only reason why she isn't drowning in debt right now is because she has a very high paying job as a senior level software engineer/data scientist. At least when she was at work Phillip had some momentary calm before the storm but that all changed when her company decided to start a reduce carbon footprint campaign and shifted everyone to work from home. She could abuse him any time now and she would strike at random during the work whenever she had a break.
Phillip's father Stephen tried to divorce Kayla and take Phillip away from the hellhole of a house. But Kayla found ways to make it look it Stephen was the asshole and she got to keep him. Stephen out of his sadness took his own life. The only person that could ever have a chance of getting custody of Phillip was his grandmother Theodora. She tried to and almost won but then a glioblastoma decided to come in at the last minute. Using the suicide of her husband and death of her mother as a base, Kayla has convinced all the neighbors that she cannot do wrong and they fall for it every time. Phillip was stuck with her until he was 18.
While sitting in the basement he noticed a small box in the corner and it had his name on it. Curious he went to it and opened the box. There was a note attached on top of all the packing peanuts.
