They’ve certainly captured the ambiance of Dragonlance, you think to yourself.
From your vantage point at the entrance, you can see a complete village, accurate down to the pictured signs. Literacy was a special skill in the earlier editions, so shops and taverns didn’t put writing on their signs.
Two large wooden gates, both open, loom before you. Identical villages are set behind them, though the left village seems a bit…ominous? Darker, maybe? It’s hard to tell through the slight mist. Two men in plate armor, bearing halberds, stand stock still before each gate.
You check the attraction map they gave you at the entrance. According to the rolled parchment, the right gate is labeled as the “Heroes Gate (PC’s Only).” The one on the left is called the “Monsters Gate (NPC’s Only).”
Most of your characters have been good aligned, leaning toward neutral. Although, you do remember the evil campaign you were in earlier this year, with the Zombie Lord character. That was a fun change of pace.
