“Doesn’t it feel like he’s been moving things too fast?” Christy asked. “It wasn’t but a year ago that it was just the five of us...”
“Annnd?” Lucy asked with a mouthful of potatoes.
“Really?” Sam asked, gesturing to the twelve women who’d fallen for Colin in the space of less than twelve months.
“Yeah, it’s like he’s trying to have a harem besties club!” Jamie said.
“Well zis club is getting very crowded.” Marinette grumbled.
Colin tiptoed into the kitchen and slipped the lamp away, slowly creeping back into his room.
“And where do you think you’re going with that?” A woman asked from behind.
“NOT TRYING TO SNEAK A DATE WITH ANOTHER NEW GIRL!” Colin smiled awkwardly.
“Uh-huh... hey, can I borrow this gravy boat?” Megan asked as she grabbed the lamp and emptied a pot of scalding hot gravy into it.
Genie wrung put her top and slipped it back on, asking “Why would you let someone do that?!”
“I panicked!” Colin yelled. “Anyway, I wish I DIDN’T have a date for the ball drop at the mall.”
“Done, she’ll be here the morning of New Years Eve!” Genie smiled as she snapped.
“That takes care of that...” Colin smiled.
