As night approached you lay alone in your hut terrified of what the night would bring. Would you awake a woman? An average Kim like all the others? Just to be paired of and married to a Konda? To bring him children and raise them. To be one of the tribe...
You could sleep at all but soon you began to hear a noise coming from outside. You saw torches burning and getting closer as the sound of men was near. Several of the women awoke with a scream as it seemed a war party of the Konda was invading the Kim...
“Oh god...they are hear to conquer their women and take them as wives...” You thought.
However as the lights grew around your tent the noises stopped. Your door opened as the Chief stood there with several men at his side.
“It is time to make your choice little Kim...” He said with a smile.
Before you could speak several men grabbed you and brought you out of the hut. To your surprise no one else was being harmed or anything. In fact the women were all outside looking at you. As if they knew this was coming.
Your eyes were blindfolded and your hands were bound. The men led you away moving away from the beaches and into the hills and mountain towards the center of the island.
You had no idea where you were but you walked for what seemed like an eternity. Finally when it ended they removed your blindfold and binds as you found yourself on your knees in front of the chief. You were in a cave. A large dank cave but with a large skylight above with an open view to the dark blue night sky above.
The floor and walls of the cave were all decorated and painted. It seemed this cave was a shrine of some kind apparently to the moon as it was drawn everywhere.
“We come here now little Kim to see the end of your trial and for your choice to be made. If you accept the blessing of the Moon Goddess you will be forever more one of our women. Just as your friend accepted the blessing from the Sun God this morning.” The chief spoke as he made a gesture.
Stepping forward you gasped as you saw your friend Nick. However he was nothing like before. He looked like one of the tribesmen, however he was taller, stronger, and better built than almost all of them.
“Nick...is that you?” You asked reaching out.
Nick looked confused as if he didn’t understand the name.
“His name is Kaal. A warrior of the Konda and protector of the island. He doesn’t remember his old life.” The chief spoke.
“Change him back!” You shouted.”
“I cannot...he chose this for himself. He was given a choice too and he chose yes.” The chief said.
“What you expect me to do the same? You want me to just be some tribeswoman like all the others?” You shouted.
“Not like all the others...if you accept the gift of the moon goddess it will make you the most beautiful woman in the entire tribe. You will be a princess. All the best warriors will compete for the honor of your hand. The winner will named our next chief and you will rule by his side.” The chief said.
“No! I would never!” You said in defiance.
“The choice is yours. If you reject the offering of the goddess it will return you to normal and we will prepare a raft for you to leave on.” The chief replied.
The chief nodded as the men suddenly ripped off all your clothes leaving you naked. Your awkward body, trapped between male and female on display for all to see.
They pushed you into the circle as you fell on your knees. You tried to cover your shame but it was of little use.
All the men suddenly began chanting around you. As they did you saw the clouds parting in the sky, the moon suddenly peaked out from the clouds. It was full and bright and it’s light began to shine through the skylight bathing you with a warm glow.
You were beginning to feel something...A warmth...a pleasure like none before. You felt nice...it was like nothing you had experienced ever before as you suddenly let out...
