“Before we do what mommy has in mind, do you need to potty?” the ghost asked. Still sucking on her thumb, Marcia thought for a moment. She nodded. “Then let’s get you on the potty!” The ghost carried Marcia over to a toddler’s training potty, removed her clothes and diaper, then set Marcia’s bare butt on the potty.
“What about diapy?” Marcia asked.
“You’re still young enough that diapers are okay, but you’re getting big,” the ghost said. “Before you know it, you’ll be a big girl! And big girls don’t wear diapers, do they?” Marcia shook her head. “Use the potty for mommy now.”
Obediently, Marcia let her bladder loose. The ghost smiled at the sound of urine hitting the potty.
“Good girl!” it cooed. Marcia blushed at the praise. “Make poopy now, too, okay?”
“I no need,” Marcia said, remembering her accident not long ago.
“Try for mommy,” the ghost wheedled. With a sigh, Marcia did as she was told. She pushed. To her surprise, the ghost was right, and she did need to go number two. She began to grunt with effort as she evacuated her bowels. “Good girl!” the ghost said.
Marcia was still mid-bowel movement when the door to the nursery opened. She looked over to see…
