Before Mary even woke she did unconsciously feel something wrong. When she went to sleep her duvet and pyjamas were really comfortable but she felt... Tangled in it?
It was then she fully came into consciousness and saw some weird thing obstructing her vision. There was something else as well. Mary's field of view seemed to have expanded almost as if to compensate for her new blind spot. She tried to sit up and got that feeling as though she were tangled in something again. She then instinctively tried to turn over for some reason, onto her belly. It did feel better actually so Mary then actually managed to stand up. On... four legs...
Mary looked over to her left. It can't be! In her mirror was a rather horrified looking female red fox wearing oversized pyjamas. She panicked and just about pulled her shirt off with what were her hands last night, followed by her pyjama pants which Mary instinctively pulled off with her new muzzle. She jumped off the bed, trying to stand on her back legs at first and then falling down onto her front paws again, muttering about how stupid that idea was (it came out as a growl). She approached the mirror, only then remembering how she played off that vial as a hoax. Here she is now, naked, with four paws and a tail! Some hoax!
"What was I thinking" she asks herself out loud, only to make a sequence of growling and barking noises.
This felt weird. She was covered in a beautiful coat of orange and white fur that would only be that clean on her, seeing as she somehow grew it overnight, along with sharp teeth and a big bushy tail. She had a stripe of white fur that went from the bottom of her snout and down her neck onto her belly and tail. Speaking of which... she found her new limb really weird at first. She just stood there with her side to the mirror shaking it back and forth and getting a feel for the new muscles there. She also finds out that she can move her fluffy ears up and down the side of her head; presumably to listen for prey. She was quite small too, about 40cm when standing on all fours. She could tell be looking at how high the ceiling was. Mary assumed she can't speak plain English but if she was going to spend the rest of her life as a fox it would be handy if she could. Mary had the idea that she could tell her story and get whichever asshole gave her the vials in trouble! She took in a deep breath and..."Heh, heh, HE" was what left her snout when she tried "One, two, three". That's a no then. It was no surprise she couldn't when she felt the inside of her mouth with her new bigger tongue. It was completely different and her new teeth were sharp!
Mary only then noticed that she trapped in her room. Not only could she not even reach the handle any more, she lackee the dexterity. She lifted her front right paw and turned it over. Mary contracted the muscles that did ball her fist when she was a human and it just moved a few if her toes together, squishing the pad on her new foot, which feels funny. Not only had she lost her human face, voice and identity but now she was also trapped in a human bedroom in the early morning.
"Crap. What now." She thought
"heh. Heh-heh" she said.
She was a fox in every way. A meer animal
