Pleased that his son was now a jock like him, Brian tiptoes away from the door and quietly makes his way down the stairs. He cracks open the front door and shuts it behind him slowly. Readjusting his backpack and gym bag, Brian checks the time on his phone: "Seven-twenty. I'll knock at seven-fifty."

Throwing the wet toilet paper into the toilet and flushing it down, Seth steps out of the bathroom back into his bedroom. His alarm clock informs him the time, 7:40. "Shit," Seth mutters to himself, "I've gotta get dressed, and do my hair-" Catching his reflection in the mirror above his desk, Seth remembers that his new, next-to-nothing haircut requires almost no work. Opening his closet, he is shocked to find that his old clothes are gone. His oversized T-shirts, cropped jeans, and skater shoes have been replaced by the clothes typical of someone of his new jock status: Tank tops, basketball shorts, sneakers, and other athletic clothing. Remembering Brian's outfit yesterday, Seth pulls out a white tank top, a black pair of mesh basketball shorts, some clean underwear, some all-white Nike sneakers, and a pair of white Nike socks. He gingerly slips the tank top over his head, enjoying the feeling of the soft fabric hugging his pecs. He slides the underwear up his legs, shivering as the fabric rubs against the tip of his junk. He then steps into the basketball shorts, with the ends of the shorts lightly brushing the top of his knee. He sits on his bed as he pulls the socks onto his feet and partially up his calves. As he goes to put on his shoes, he hears a knock at the front door.
"Who could be here...?" Seth hastily steps into the shoes, grabs his backpack, and heads down the stairs. Upon opening the front door, he is surprised to see Brian standing there. Brian is wearing a similar ensemble to Seth, but his tank top is black and his basketball shorts are white. Additionally, he's wearing a colorful pair of sneakers. Brian also has his backpack, but he's got a gym bag hanging over his other shoulder as well.
"What's up, bro?" Brian reaches his thick hand out to dap Seth up, and Seth instinctively extends his own burly, jock hand to accept the dap.
"You, uh, heading to school, too," Seth asks sheepishly.
"Yeah, I thought we could just walk together and you could give me back that jacket?"
"Right! Let me get it and we can leave." Shrugging his backpack off his shoulder, he starts up the stairs.
"Oh," Brian calls after him, "Grab your gym bag and a pair of workout clothes, too!"
"Ok," Seth yells down to him. Where his skateboarding stuff had been the night before, now sits a black Nike gym bag. Grabbing it, he stuffs it with an older pair of sneakers, a gray Nike athletic shirt, and a pair of crimson basketball shorts. He zips up his bag, grabs the Jock Jacket, and hurries down the stairs.
"Let's run," Brian suggests as he takes the Jock Jacket from Seth.
Nodding, Seth picks up his backpack and the two begin their run to school.

Not at all winded--much to Seth's surprise surprise--he and Brian reach the high school a few minutes before eight. Brian turns toward Seth and slaps him on the back, "Okay, Seth. Meet me at Coach's office after school."
"Uh, for what," Seth asks.
"I just want to introduce y'all! I'll see you there?"
"Yeah, I'll be there."
"Awesome," Brian responds as he heads to his first class of the day.
Readjusting the gym bag on his shoulder, Seth makes his way to his first class of the day, chemistry, reveling in the throngs of girls and guys that are stealing glances his way.
