The place was beautiful... but you notice more than a few claw and bite marks on the furniture.
You sat down, and the hunched over old woman look up at you. The crone grasped the head of her cane for dear life.
"Call me Renata young woman, and you are?"
"Uh, Brenda."
"Well Brenda, did your teacher tell you the work experience I needed?"
"Uh... She said you needed help with child care?"
"Oh yes! My grandchildren! I won't lie to you, they are wild little monsters. Disciplining them is an ordeal. And I simply can't keep up with them even in my best shape anymore."
"... Where are their parents?" You dared ask.
The old woman stiffened. "Years ago, their parents went on a hunt... they made two good kills... sadly, they neglected to realize their prey had a child of their own. A child who in spite of her young ask, took vengeance upon them... I've NEVER told my grandchildren this so they won't continue the cycle... I simply tell them their parents died in a hunting accident."
"Oh... I'm sorry. "
"What's done is done, I won't lie that the pain ever goes away, but their legacy still endures... a legacy that loves to chew up the furniture and act like they're still in the middle of the woods."
"Your grandchildren did THIS?" You gesture at the damage.
"I did say they were wild little monsters... Controlling them will be a challenge to say the least. But I desperately need the help... will you do this for me? I promise I will pay you handsomely."
You sighed. You dared not get a bad grade on this assignment.
"I will."
"Excellent." The old woman rose up. And with more stride than she had before, she led you down a stairway to a basement door. She opened it... revealing a VERY spacious room, brightly lit, with cheerful colorful forest paintings on the walls. With beds, stuffed animals, thick blankets, all torn to shreds, along with what looked like a entertainment system with games such as 'Transforming Beast' and 'Blood and Fangs'. It was not torns to pieces like nearly everything else in the room. You also saw the bones of deer and other animals piled up in the center.
And you saw four bipedal wolf cubs, one white, one black, one brown, one silver, the only thing any of them wearing was tribal paint on their fur. They slowly stopped what they were doing, sniffed the air, and slowly turned towards you.
"Jeff? Jim? Jill? Jenny? Meet your new babysitter and caretaker," said the old woman with a sweeping gesture.
The four cubs went into formation and began to slowly prowl towards you on all fours.
"You... you... YOU DIDN'T TELL ME YOUR FAMILY HAS LYCANTROPHY!" Weren't werewolves supposed to register with the public health association or something!?
"I didn't? Oh bad me," the old woman sniggered and gave herself a slight slap on the wrist. "But we have an agreement now... Unbreakable. I checked with my lawyer. And they've now smelled you. You can either run for it, they'll catch you, and hope you'll finish transforming into one of us once they begin taking bite of you before they finish eating you. Or you can let me turn you into park of my pack, and wipe away those annoying human taboos and scruples like resistance to violence and consuming the flesh of prey... And might actually be able to stand up to them... I suggest you either start running or let me change you quickly, I swear that I can only hold them off for so long."
Terrified and with no choice you say, "Change me!"
"Excellent!" The old woman said. She began to grow in size, throwing off her dress revealing she had nothing underneath, but that didn't matter as gray and white fur already covered her body as she grew taller than you were, her muscles bulging as she look like she could break you in two. Her feet began digigrated with claws. Her hands finger nails became claws that could rend your flesh. A busy tail grew from her rear as she hunched over. Her head became that of a wolf except for the glint of intelligence glare down at you.
In a flash she grabbed you, and bite into your shoulder. You instantly felt fire spreading through you instantly. Black fur covered your entire body, your muscles doubled in size, and the double was tripled. Your nails shifted into claws. Your face pushed into a fang filled muzzle as you felt your tail form. Your legs changed shape. Your ears moved and became pointed. A world of smells unlike any you'd ever experienced came to you as the world's colors became less (humans had three color receptors, wolves had only two).
The old wolf tore your clothes off but you didn't notice and you really didn't care, emotions such as modesty and shame didn't matter to you anymore. Humans didn't matter to you anymore, they were like deer, or rabbits.
You handed on your hands and feet, and howled at the wild little brats, who stopped in their tracks in at the sight of you... realizing they didn't just have an old granny to outrun now...
