"Howdy!"
David looked up. Shocked. What stood in front of him was an upright, two legged, three fingered, curvy, long human-esque haired cow. She was wearing muddied jeans, custom made so her udder was all on display, a short tied up red button up shirt, and a slightly chewed straw hat.
David backed away in a panic. This was weird. Really weird. Even if this was the result of the Chronivac, this wasn't something David could handle immediately.
"Well ain't that a fine how do you doooo!" She mooed.
She, while somewhat still bugged by his response, laughed it off as she leaned back on a fence post. David started to notice more about this... whatever this was. Her boots broke off to fit her hooves. He noticed a tail flick from side to side. That was fur, legitimate fur, that she had. This was real. Really, really real.
"I thought y'all were gonna milk us. Has Jim been tiring you again? Stirring you up again? He's left ya with me, hasn't he?"
Milk? She wasn't serious. David had to answer.
"Huh? Oh... heh... yeah." David replied awkwardly. "Guess I'm stuck with ...um..."
"Betsy"
"Bets?" David couldn't believe it. That was Betsy? Betsy was one of the cows on the farm, and she was the most agreeable cows, the easiest to work with.
"Yeah, that's me. Ya look like you've seen somethin' strange. Bug on me or somethin'?"
"N-n-no. You're fine"
More than fine. David was the one who was looking strange. His shock stayed with him.
