Cassandra was feeling a little aroused, especially as she stared around at the many posters of hot actresses and singers on her walls, so the next wish seemed obvious: “I wish there was a girl from school in here with me, and I wish no one minded or thought it was weird or is gonna, like, disturb us or anything.”
Sparks flew out of the ring and started whirling around near where Cassandra was standing, quickly forming the shape of a girl. She was a bit disappointed to see that the shape was Robin Melrose, one of the nerdiest girls in town, and who had been Cass's friend before all her wishing today.
Despite having a plain body like Cassandra's had been just minutes ago, her last wish meant that Robin was wearing a black miniskirt with a sleeveless button up white blouse with a high collar that hid her lack of cleavage. She wore 'conservative' three inch red pumps on her small feet.
Now, Cass remembered Robin as her tutor, who had worked diligently, if not entirely successfully, to raise Cass's grades. She'd always turned down Cass's advances too, keeping them strictly focused on work. She was still tutoring Cass in math, as Cass had failed it senior year but had been allowed to walk at graduation on the condition that she pass it over the summer.
Robin put a couple of books down on her desk and said, “Uh, so do you want to get started or what?”
”Huh?” Cassandra asked, but then realized, “Oh, you’re here to tutor me!”
”Y-yeah,” said Robin, a weird expression on her face. “Uh, don’t take this the wrong way, but I thought we went over that. Your parents are paying me, and, so, uh, we should really get started --“
”No, wait, you know about sciencey stuff and all that, right?” asked Cassandra.
”Uh, yeah...”
”Then you should see this ring!” she exclaimed. “I’ve been using it to make wishes, and they all come true, and it’s like lots of stuff changes instead of just what I wish for!”
”Wait, what?” asked Robin. “First of all, wishing would be magic, not science, and second of all, I hate to break it to you, but wishes don’t come true.”
"But I wished for bigger boobs,” Cassandra said, gesturing toward the large globes that were being barely held in by her pink bikini top. “And I wished to be popular, and it changed a lot of stuff. Oh, and I wished I could wear clothes like this all the time.”
”But you are popular,” pointed out Robin. “And you do wear clothes like that -- all girls do -- all women do.”
”Yeah, just like I wished,” insisted Cassandra.
”No, it’s this special layer of fat you have that means you never really get too cold --“
Cassandra let out a loud groan. “Let me do something -- uh, I wish you had no zits ever and didn’t need to wear glasses.”
Robin saw a small shower of sparks emerge from the ring on Cassandra’s finger and fly toward her face, too fast for her to move out of the way. She didn’t feel anything, though, except the weight of her glasses suddenly being removed. She no longer saw the frames in her peripheral vision. Despite that, she was seeing Cassandra clear as if she had been wearing them. She blinked and looked around the room -- everything was clear. She put her fingers to his face -- no glasses, but also no bumps.
”Oh, my God,” said Robin.
”See? I told you,” Cassandra said.
”I have to sit down,” Robin explained as she plopped down into Cassandra’s desk chair, weak in the knees.
”And it doesn’t have to be just you!” exclaimed Cassandra. “Uh, I guess you should look at me and the posters on my wall -- uh, I wish something you find sexy would change about all the girls in the world.”
Robin was looking, and what she saw was...
