With transformational technology growing more common there was a perceived need to regulate everything. As such now only the government and licensed stores. That said there were plenty of stores that gave certain regulated transformations, and would often have a few backdoor transformations for those with enough money and trust.
The current business we are looking at currently is the "Couple's Care Center" or CCC. They'd take in couples or just people with relationship troubles and tried to solve them through a mixture of traditional therapy and transformations. Either that or make happy couples even happier by indulging them in all the experiences money could buy... Really it was the rich couples that ended up subsidizing some of the poor couples that were let in through a raffle.
That's the business though. Take in couples, make them happy, and profit in a for sure legal way and for sure there was absolutely no shady business anywhere... So we'll take a look of a story of some of the people at CCC namely!
