Fatigue was a lot on that early summer night. A rushing wind and a powerful roar of water moved the leaves of the trees and that continuous noise didn’t seem to want to stop or fade in intensity. Like many other people in that stupid and unnatural city, I was scrolling through the images on a useless social network’s page full of ads and distractions.
People use the social media, as a sort of trash can and showcase of themselves. In real life these things do not mix but there, in social networks these two things are mixed. The final result sucks pretty bad.
In these pages, first of all, there are an infinity of useless things, then there are many things of doubtful usefulness. Only after having overcome this dump you can find out something helpful… but be careful: this information is only important for one percent of social media’s population. So here are the really useful things!
During my long experience on social networks, I made a lot of friends not caring who of these “friends” I really knew. Surely many of these were “friends of friends”. As a result, I happened to read about people I had no idea existed and that I did not know what they did in their life.
Among these people that night a name jumped out: Mark, a twenty-two-year-old Swiss cow breeder. “I probably knew him during the holidays” I thought.
