At first, I didn’t remember him, nevertheless then curiosity took over. I had no interest in people. I didn’t like people’s busy lives. Everyone was particularly busy day and night without any time of relaxation. I got tired of people saying: “I’m too busy today…too much work… and other things like that”. I knew I was a lazy person but what I didn’t accept was being considered a coward. Everyone told me I was a coward, and this led me to live more and more alone. I didn’t want to be judged by others. For me their lives were dull and without fun.
I dreamed of living with the rhythms of nature and Mark’s profile had all of that. The photos portrayed him in an impressive mountainous landscape where green grazing lands branched out between pines and fir woods. He looked like he was alone, but it was a different loneliness: he was always surrounded by little groups of swiss cows and he seems really happy. So, scrolling through his posts I read the ad.
“Hi everybody, I spend my winter and summer days in the paradise that you can see in all these photos. As you have seen the swiss countryside is completely different from any other place on this earth. Forget the cultivated plains of Indiana and come here. The rivers are powerful, lakes are our warm seas during summer season and our ice rinks during winter season. But you can look even higher to the snowy peaks and come down at full speed. Now let’s talk about me: surely you know swiss food and you know that Switzerland is not only famous for its delicious chocolate, but also for the cheese. My family produces it from generations but I decided to manage alone the breeding of cows and the dairy. It was a tough choice but I want to give up in any way. Nevertheless, help would be most welcome and that’s why I’m asking you: come here, there’s a place for you. You’ll see, after a couple of weeks you’ll be different! Mark”
