I disengaged myself from the new girl, who I actually found myself feeling sorry for, and went to Jean.
"We've given the born-women a lot of power here." I told her.
"I know." she replied. "I was thinking we should do something about that."
"Are you going to make another wish, or do you want me to?" I asked.
Jean gave a radiant smile, and I felt myself falling in love with her all over again. "I think I know what to do." she answered.
"I wish that the born-women would want to cherish and protect the ex-men under their authority, and make their transition to womanhood as easy and as beautiful as they can."
I looked at the family whose home we had invaded to see the effects of Jean's new wish.
"C'mon sis." Yvonne was saying. "I'll show you how to put some makeup on that pretty face of yours." The former Harry gave a weak smile, and the two girls went upstairs to Yvonne's bathroom.
Sarah was giving the former Rudy a fierce hug. "Your mother loves you, Ruby. Your mother loves her beautiful new daughter." Rudy's sobs had diminished to quiet whimpers as her mother stroked her beautiful new hair.
