Mary realized several things.
She realized her new bodies could hear, or at least get a sense of, each others' thoughts, but that their thoughts were not exactly the same, which apparently meant that they were individuals.
She also realized that each copy was not an exact duplicate: for one thing, each body had different hair.
First Mary had formally styled and updone hair.
Second Mary had shoulder length straight hair.
Third Mary had dyed pink hair.
Fourth Mary had very short hair.
And Fifth Mary had long, curly hair.
"Well, what are we going to do? And which one of us is the original?" asked First Mary.
"Not you, " said the Second Mary. "I would never wear my hair like that on an ordinary day. "
"Why does it matter who is the original?" said Fifth Mary.
"I don't think any of us is, " said Fourth Mary.
"You would say that, with that lesbian looking hair cut, " said the Second Mary.
"Oh come on now, " said Third Mary, with the pink hair, "we all know we're all a little bi-curious! There's no hiding it. And now's a good chance for an all girl orgy if there ever was one!"
"Don't be ridiculous, we've got to figure out what to do, " said First Mary.
"Guys, be quiet, someone is at the door!" the Fourth Mary hissed.
