Of all the options, it was definitely best to go all the way. Tempting as it was to just go only part of the way and dress as a toddler just at the daycare, that would just result in part of her just becoming trapped with a part of her that didn't fit with the rest of her.
"I want to dress like a toddler all the time." Leah announced and got a nod from Tina. While part of her still had its doubts, she hadn't expected her step-daughter to throw herself so in that deep. Perhaps there was some truth in her statement. But they would need to get through the week before truly making a decision.
Heading to the receptionist desk, Tina grabbed the registration papers. Walking back over to Leah, out came a pen. Getting to filling out the forms, she occasionally made glances to Leah. Still dressed in the daycare uniform, she could easily pass as toddler girl. Though, she would also need possibly need a new wardrobe for the days she wasn't at the daycare. A hairstyle fit for a toddler would be good as well.
"What am I thinking?" Tina thought, focus returning to the paperwork. This was her stepdaughter of all people. She was in high school. This wasn't normal. Perhaps she needed to do some digging.
Pushing that thought out of her head, she flipped the paper around. Finding nothing on the other side, she flipped it back around and gave it one more look.
"Are you ready to go, Leah?" she called out, watching Leah focus on her. A nod followed. "Okay. I'll change your diaper once we get home..."
