Tina looked to her daughter one more time. For someone who was supposedly a teenager a mere day ago, it was clear that Leah was not one. Nor did she seem intent on staying as one. What harm could it be lying about her age? They had no way of really knowing the truth just from her daughter alone.
"This is it." Tina thought and stared at the box. Everything else had been completely filled out. The only things left was to put in Leah's age and sign her name. Staring towards the space, she scribed in a '4'. More than good enough for this form. Gazing down to the end of the form, she put her signature down. Quite a lot less painless than that phone call. Leah better not be messing with her in doing this. She would be in a world of trouble if she somehow had.
Taking a deep breath, she focused on her stepdaughter. Perhaps this would teach her a lesson in trying to pull a fast one on her mother. But time would only give the outcome to this.
