The two critter teens make up their minds

While George and Todd ‘refreshed’ themselves after the long day, Marty and Ollie had made it back to their cabin for free time before dinner. The teens in the cabin often took this time for start a pickup game of soccer or basketball, or to visit with the girls they’d met with during the weekend, so the cabin was quite deserted when Marty walked in alongside Ollie.

Marty was giddy with excitement hearing from Alex that he could be going to the same school as Ollie the next year, and wondered if Ollie knew about it yet. Unable to contain himself, he grinned and pulled Ollie over toward the bunks and hopped up into Ollie’s top bunk. “Come on, I’ve got something awesome to tell you!” he said, giving his crush an alluring wink. Ollie curiously joined Marty in the bunk, hoping nobody walked in on them. He knew (somehow) that animal people like them were open-minded about most relationships, but that didn’t mean they’d be saved from a little good-natured teasing from the other boys.

The two boys cuddled in the little bunk bed, pressed in close together with their arms wrapped around each other awkwardly. “So… what did you want to tell me?” Ollie asked quietly, putting his head on Marty’s strong shoulder. Marty just smiled and leaned over to kiss Ollie gently on the muzzle, slowing down compared to their frantic making out over the past few days. Now that he knew they had all the time they needed, making out like they were in heat and rushing toward something more physical and grown-up seemed so unnecessary.

Marty pulled away from the kiss, then said, “So, I just heard from Alex… He said that we’re going to the same high school next year… Isn’t that great?” For some reason, Marty didn’t think it was odd that the badger knew this information when even he and Ollie didn’t. He was just so happy that he’d get to spend more time with his best friend… no, his first boyfriend.

Ollie felt a warmth deep in his chest at this news, and his brilliant smile spread until it almost hurt. In the back of his mind, he remembered being a sad, middle-aged man, unable to find a boyfriend after a lifetime of being ashamed of himself. No real job prospects, no close relationships, no family to speak of… He didn’t know what he expected coming to Camp CritterCreek, but the morning he had woken up as a young, handsome teen again (albeit a little fuzzier and a lot cuter than the first time), he knew that he’d been gifted a second chance to be happy and went along with everything the camp wanted for him. And it paid off big in the form of the beautiful rabbit laying next to him.

Both Marty and Ollie stopped worrying about that past that had brought them to the camp. Marie was no longer worried about her ex-husband, somehow trusting that he had found happiness like she had, while Ollie knew it was best to just… forget about the man he had used to be. Instead, they both cuddled tighter and started to imagine their future together. Marty as the star center on the soccer team, Ollie as the head cheerleader rallying him on. Walking to school together hand-in-hand, making everyone jealous at how perfectly lovey-dovey they were. Going to prom, then heading home to enjoy one another as deeply as two people can. And yes, occasionally sneaking away from meddlesome grown-ups to enjoy a little private time. Boys will be boys, after all.

Their chaste kissing quickly turned into something a bit more passionate, their furry muzzles entwining and their tongues dancing. Marty shivered and his cottontail flicked every time his tongue scraped across Ollie’s sharp canine teeth, while Ollie couldn’t help but reach up to fondle his boyfriend’s soft, warm ears. They knew that going much further than that would be a mistake, since anyone could walk in on them at a moment’s notice, and Marty certainly didn’t want ‘Can’t control his libido’ on his permanent camp record alongside ‘Tendency to run off’.

The two teens eventually rolled off each other, and Ollie could hear some of the other teens playing soccer outside. “Hey… how about you go show them how it’s done, honey-bunny?” Ollie said, making Marty blush at the ridiculously cutesy nickname.

Marty thought for a moment about that, but eventually decided that there would be more time for fun with Ollie later. For now, his muscles were itching to move, and this was just the chance he was looking for. “Only if you’re there cheering me on, Ollie,” he said, giving his boyfriend another smooch on the muzzle before hopping down to the floor and starting to walk outside.
