"Hello everyone and welcome to a Groundhog's Day, 2021, special of Animalia Ambassadoria." said Miles, starting the latest episode of Animalia Ambassadoria.
"Today, we'll be looking at some of the strangest/funniest things that happened in 2020, and the first two months of 2021." said Jen-Jen

One of the biggest things that happened during 2020 that concerned Animalia was the plane crash at Mieni Atoll, but that had been overshadowed on news websites by the "sensationalists" who were claiming that the crash was caused by everything from "Chilean mercenaries" to "Chinese snake demons". The problem with that was that this had gotten so out of control that they had started getting copyright lawsuits from a few movie and/or TV studios so that eventually the stories were taken down. But one such studio, who was also behind the first Perry Platypus movie, had gotten hold of one of those stories before it was removed. After "filing off the serial numbers", they had a good plot for the next Perry Platypus movie.
In it, Chinese extremists, who felt that China had been going downhill ever since the Opium trade, and later communism, took hold of it, had found the location of an ancient Han Dynasty artifact called the Scale of the White Serpent and believed that it would restore China to its Imperial strength. Concerned, Perry's organization decides to send Perry to investigate these extremists and the artifact they were seeking. While there were some on the website who said that this would do better as an Indiana Jones movie, the movie studio representative that was being interviewed simply said that the movie "was a tip of the hat" to the series.

In the financial analysis part of the episode, it not only covered the surge that Carob caused, but also the most recent thing that was being covered on the news, the "big squeeze" that was taking GameStop and similar failing companies by storm, and the big stink that some corporations were making about it.
It also had an interview with a real financial expert that helped explain what was going on, mainly to prevent confusion,- especially at all the backlash against a certain stock-trading app.

The episode also included a link to "archived coverage" of Spookyville 2020, which had been overshadowed by these sensationalists at the time.

Another segment covered interviews with some of the newest members of Animalia. One was Sam, who was one of the newest members of the GGAC. Not only was he a male Fennec Fox, he was also a powerfully built fox, second only to Steven Blair, and he was also notorious in some circles for dating Nicole's mother Joanne, mainly for the difference in ages. The only thing Nicole had against him was the fact that she didn't feel right about having someone so young as a stepfather, but she wasn't too surprised since Joanne had been diagnosed with mild RHS after she had won that amateur strip contest at the Meat Market.
Part of the reason why Sam was part of the latest episode was because, back in April, he had bought some stock in GameStop out of boredom through a stock-purchasing app, but when the "big squeeze" happened, his wealth shot way up in an unexpected way. But that wasn't the reason why he and Joanne were dating. The two of them had met at Claw Coliseum before it closed for renovations, and Joanne had been drawn to him like a magnet, much to his surprise.

The final part of the episode covered the major events that were coming up, mainly Valentine's day and the 2021 Lunar New Year Celebrations, what each would involve, and when each would happen, since there was some confusion going on, with some thinking that the upcoming 2021 Super Bowl might be causing some overlap or cancellations.

"Well, that's all the time we have for today." said Miles, eventually wrapping up the episode. "See you all next time in the wilds of Animalia.
