Erick and Frank’s dreams were affected by their changes, making them change too in their dreams. They saw no problem with this, especially Frank since his change was good for him.
In the morning, millions of people have been changed. Neither of the two guys knew it. Erick was the first to wake up.
Erick woke up to the sun shining on his face. He wiped his eye clean and saw his hands were still small.
“Oh, I’m still dreaming!” He said to himself. He noticed a large wet stain on his bed, but he didn’t care. Erick got out of bed and walked around.
His clothes were oversized for his body. It was hard to walk around with his pants and underwear on, so he took them off. His shirt was the same as the one he wore to bed, which impressed him about his dream.
“It was big when I’m awake, and now it’s like a dress” he told himself. Suddenly his bladder began to interrupt his dream. He ran to the bathroom and climbed onto the toilet. It was hard for him to sit on it, but Erick was able to use the bathroom while struggling.
At the same time Erick woke up, so did Frank. There was a tight pressure all over his body. He got out of bed to check it, and realized that his clothes were a few sizes smaller. He pulled them off and noticed that both his shirt and underwear had slightly ripped. He took off all his clothes and looked in his closet for anything that could fit.
Sadly, the only thing that fit him were old sweatpants. Underwear and shirts were not available. He was unsure what happened, but he knew that his dream was starting to feel realistic.
Frank walked over to check his phone. As he turned it on, he could see that his dream was getting too realistic. His entire notification feed was filled with news articles and posts about “people changing” overnight.
“This can’t be a dream! It feels way to real!” Frank told himself. He remembered that if someone realizes they’re in a dream, then they can take control. He knew he realized it was a dream, but there was no controlling happening.
After trying to control his ‘dream’ Frank attempted to wake up. He tried many things but none of them worked.
“Ok, maybe this isn’t a dream! There’s no way I can have a body like this overnight!” He looked at himself and put together that it wasn’t a dream, and something was wrong.
He also remembered that he had a son, which would result in an awkward explanation. He heard a toilet flush, which meant he wouldn’t have to scare his son by waking him up.
