"For today's lesson, I'm going to need a volunteer."
The words were barely out your teacher's mouth before your hand shot up. You didn't care about being embarrassed like everyone else; if someone was going to get the chance to fuck today, you wanted to be the one to do it!
"Very good, come on up here." said the teacher. You stood up and his next words filled you with joy. "And now I'll let you pick. Choose one of the young ladies in class to join us."
You stared out at the sea of disbelieving faces. It was like a dream come true. Were you really going to have sex with one of your classmates? Their faces looked back at you with shock and disgust. You realized that picking someone against their will might not make you a popular person. You eyes locked with Mina, a girl you didn't know too well, but she'd always been nice. She smirked and raised an eyebrow. You took the sign and made your choice.
"Uh, I choose Mina" you stammer.
"Great," said your teacher. "Come on up here Mina and I'll let you pick your partner. Any boy in the class."
Wait. What? Your mouth dropped open and you almost drooled from the shock. You watched as Mina picked Steve and they came up to the front of the class together and smiled at each other. They were both grinning and shifting their weight as they nervously looked into each others' eyes. What the hell is Steve up here for?
"Ok, settle down" said the teacher. "Today you're going to get an extremely sped-up demonstration of the human reproduction cycle. Thanks to this little device right here." He held up a small, silver remote control. "I know you already know a lot about how a baby is made..."
The class all giggled.
"...but today you're going to see it in action." He pressed a button on the remote and two large TVs behind him lit up. They were each showing a confusing view of tubes and muscles and fat. No one knew what they were looking at but it was clearly the insides of a human body.
"What you see behind me" continued the teacher "is where today's lesson will play out. On the left, you are viewing a real-time image of the inside of Mr. Parson's testicles." The class gasped and Steve awkwardly covered his crotch with his hand. "All of those little moving things are Mr. Parson's sperm. They're ready and waiting to fertilize a female's egg."
Now it was Mina's turn to display an awkwardly shocked face. She started at the other screen, suddenly understanding it.
"And on the right you are seeing Ms. Roper's ovaries - full of eggs that would just love to meet a nice little sperm and grow into a baby."
The class had gotten over its initial shock and was begging to gossip. A boy from the back of the room heckled Steve. "Hey Steve! Give it to her!" The class began to laugh.
"Now now" said the teacher. "Settle down. Clearly it would be unethical to create a new life just for the purposes of a class. And I'm sure Steve and Mina here don't want to be teenage parents. So that's where our eager volunteer comes in."
Immediately every single eye in the room swirled back to you and stared without blinking. "Uh... me?" you stammer. "What am I going to do?"
"Well that's where this" the teacher held up the remote "magical technology is going to come in. For the rest of the class we are going to watch you be conceived and born."
"Born!?" shrieked Mina. "He is not going to fit!" she said assuredly.
"Oh, quite right, Ms. Roper. Quite right. That's why we'll be shrinking him."
You took a big step back. "Shrinking!?"
"Well, not just shrinking, but regressing. And splitting." He turned back to the class. "Thanks to your lessons last semester you all know how an egg and a sperm combine to form a baby. In order to show you that processes without ending up with a new baby at the end of class, we're going to unravel your friend here and turn him back into a sperm and an egg. We'll then put him in Mina and Steve and speed the entire process up so that it takes 45 minutes instead of 10 months."
The class was silent again. No one was even breathing. You looked over at Steve and Mina and saw their wide unblinking eyes staring back at you. This couldn't be true, could it? You were about to be un-born, un-conceived, and then sent back the other way? All in GYM CLASS, of all places? This had to be a dream.
"Ok" said the teacher. "Let's begin."
And he pressed the button
