What was Jason going to choose? His regular, everyday life, or the life of Russel? His familiar and secure life, or the life of a gay, hunky cowboy. It was quite the decision that was suddenly thrust upon the young teenager. This decision would literally change his life, and yet all he could think about was poor Terry.
If he didn't take Russel's life and no one chose his shoes, would Terry be left all alone? And yet, he also felt guilty of technically replacing Terry's lover. Neither option was particularly appealing to Jason. Was there really no other option... wait, maybe there was...
"Hey, before I make my decision, do you think you can contact the person Russel is now? Also, I'm going to need another pair of shoes." Jason said with conviction that he didn't know he had. This caused the clerk to raise an eyebrow at him.
"Oh, you seem to have some sort of plan, huh? Well, I'm all ears. What exactly is your plan now?"

Back at the ranch house, Clint, owner of the Ranch and Russel's father, was busy with finances when he heard the doorbell ring. When he answered the door, he found a delivery man with a package.
"Delivery for a Clint West. According to instructions, I'm supposed to tell you it's from your son and wanted to reward you for all the hard work you've done lately. Seems like he's a shy one if he needed a deliveryman to tell you all that, huh?" The deliveryman chuckled as he handed over the package to Clint.
"Uh, thanks?" Clint said in confusion as he signed for the package. This was all very strange, but he just shrugged it off as his son clumsily showing his affection towards him. Rusty did seem to have trouble talking to him about something before, so many this was his way of doing it?
As Clint took the package and shut the door behind him, the deliveryman smirked, as he was really the clerk from the walk-a-mile shoe store following through with Jason's little scheme. As he got back to the car, he was greeted by Jason, who was observing the situation from afar.
"You think he'll put the shoes on?" Jason asked.
"I believe he will," Responded the clerk. "You know, in my career as a life salesman, I never once had a customer want to fix the life for another customer before. I'm curious where this will go, but I have to ask, what made you want to do this?"
"Well, it was because Terry and Rusty were in love with each other, so much. I felt that love first hand. So even with a new life, I'm sure Rusty regretted leaving Terry behind," Jason answer truthfully. "Anyway, I know that Rusty's father is going to turn into a gay man like his son, but who exactly is he going to into?"
After hearing this, the clerk, once again, chuckled and pulled out his phone. Somehow it had a video of Clint opening up the package his "son" had sent to him. "Well, why don't you see for yourself who he'll turn into."
