Winery couldn't help but feel humiliated, led around by the neck by a toddler like a common dog. It was so unbecoming for someone from the royal family. Glancing over at Zack, she was thankful Lycans could communicate telepathically when in animal form.
"I cant believe you subject yourself to this," she thought.
"Dont see what the big deal is," Zack replied. "Yuki is a sweet kid and she treats me kindly when I'm like this. It's harmless and it makes her happy."
Winery scoffed, which in animal form sounded like a sneeze. Yuriko paused, the toddler turning to Winery with a look of concern. "Are you okay puppy," she asked. Winery gave the girl a look of confusion as the child now felt her head. "You dont have a fever," she whispered. "Maybe you hungry. Do you want something to eat."
Winery was still confused, surprised the child was trying to diagnose an illness in the same way a mother would a child. "She pays attention when her mom checks her brother to see if hes sick," Zack stated. "Shes too young to understand the difference in animals and people illness."
Winery was still confused as she now watched the girl anxiously glance around the kitchen. "Dont tell mommy Zack," Yuriko said. "You promise."
Zack replied with a quiet bark, Yuriko smiling ear to ear as she closed her eyes. Winery was startled as she watched a kitchen cabinet and the fridge now open. Slowly a can of chicken soup and two pieces of meat levitated towards the child who picked them out of the air.
"Okay Zack," Yuriko smiled. "I got your treats, now sit!" Zack did as commanded, much to Winery's embarrassment. The dark wolf now sat before Yuriko like a common house pet causing the girl to giggle. "Good boy Zack," she cheered, handing a large chunk of raw meat to the werewolf.
Winery was both befuddled and embarrassed. The child possessed an incredible amount of magic if she was able to move objects with her mind, yet she also treated Lycans like pets. Wizards knew the pride and ferocity of the Lycan race yet this girl seemed completely oblivious.
"Yeah Yuki really doesnt know about magic or magical beings," Zack stated, much to Winerys surprise. "Remember I can hear your thoughts Winny. I know its weirding you out but just trust me. Yuki is a sweetheart."
Winery was still unsure, especially since the child was now presenting her with a can of soup. Zack could sense his girlfriends apprehension and decided to help. Emitting a small bark, Zack now beckoned to Winery before pushing his raw meat towards her. Amazingly Yuriko seemed to grasp what Zack was trying to say. "Do you want a treat too," she asked.
Winery was unsure what to say. Looking towards her boyfriend, he seemed to be indic6she should say yes. Taking a deep breath, Winery now let out a soft bark, which Yuriko seemed to take as a yes.
"Okay puppy I'll get you a treat too."
Winery watched as Yuriko now began to concentrate once more, the fridge opening as a chunk of raw meat floated towards Winery. Sniffing the air, the werewolves mouth began to water. The girl was giving them fresh venison. Jumping into the air, Winery quickly snatched the meat out of the air as she hungrily began to eat.
"Silly puppy your supposed to sit," Yuriko giggled. Winery paused, looking between Zack and Yuriko. Zack seemed concerned that she may have been too aggressive while Yuriko simply beamed at her with an innocent smile. Lowering her head slightly, Winery was surprised as Yuriko pat her head before hugging her tightly.
As the two werewolves now snacked on their fresh meat they paused as they listened to the little girl sing to herself as she loving gazed at the two werewolves. Winery, although still doubtful, began to reconsider that maybe being a domestic werewolf wasnt such a bad thing afterall.
