"Mom, relax I'm not a kid," Stacy was about to hang up when she suddenly became disoriented. She was still trying to regain a sense of her bearings when her mom responded.
Her mom sighed, "I know you're just a kid, but at 12 you're already far more responsible than your brother at 14. Anyway have fun at cheer practice!"
Stacy stood there puzzled. Looking down she saw her body was now that of a nearly flat chested middle schooler complete with the more modest cheer uniform from her old middle school.
This was freaky. More importantly what was this? Is this a dream? Is she hallucinating?
She was still mulling over these questions while her legs carried her on autopilot. Soon she found herself standing in front of the gym where local cheer squads practice. But where was she supposed to be going?
She has no idea where the middle schoolers would be, not that going to a middle school cheer practice sounded appealing. Maybe she should head for her normal practice and try to get help from her friends.
