Jennifer joined the Toronto sixes at the age of 18. Over her first 2 years she was a minor player. Her benefits were low, as was her pay, and she was mostly there as a backup. At the 2 year mark however, in January 2028, Jennifer was given her chance to play as Goalie in a live game when both Goalies couldn’t make the net. She played her heart out, using her strength and flexibility to complement her mental acuity. Performing admirably she was given more time during practice. When in her third year one of the goalies left, Jennifer took over the position full time. That led to her being with the team 5 years, 3 actively, when she retired from hockey in late 2030.
During those years she had continued her studies and had finished a diploma in business hospitality. One of her more popular online contributions was in cosplay however, with her occasionally going to some comic expo to display a costume. This helped bring new fans to her team.
Her retirement left her with a small amount of savings which she started putting towards a co-op bachelors degree in public relations, minoring in biology. While going to school she received decent marks. She extended her studies and supplemented her income with part time work in acting. She started taking advantage of voice acting work in cartoons. She would play witches, Vikings, imaginary friends, and all manner of characters.
During those four years another event happened to her. She met her future husband.
After graduating following four years in 2034 at the age of 26, Jennifer started her career in public speaking. She joined a company she had interest with as an investor relations officer. On the side she became an extra using connections from voice acting. In the future she hoped to make acting a full time career, having developed an interest in the craft.
