"-n." Richard finished. He looked down at himself and found a middle aged man. He wore a nice suit, and seemed to e well preserved for his age. He could tell he had a somewhat muscular build. It wasn't what he wanted to see, but at least he didn't have a big gut or something. He did notice a ring on his finger.
Richard breathed a sigh of relief that Olivia must have turned on awareness for the target. He still had a chance to fix things, and figure out what his former mother had changed before.
"Richard, could you come over here and rub my feet." Emily called from the couch. The tone left no doubt it was expected he'd do it.
"I'll finish getting dinner ready. You know how your wife hates to be kept waiting." Olivia chuckled, turning around and taking the camera with her.

"Richard, what is taking you so long?" Emily's voice screeched.
"Olivia gave him an amused smile, and shooed him away.
Richard entered the living room where Emily had kicked off her shoes. She was watching some gossip show as he sat before her. Richard decided to play along just long enough that he could get the camera and escape this hell.
"You're lucky I love you. This Dalia brand you wanted me to buy is the most uncomfortable thing I've ever worn. First thing tomorrow I'm returning them." Emily complained as Rich worked on her feet.
"They won't take them back after you've worn them." Richard said aloud despite himself.
"Those hussies won't dare give me any trouble. If they want me to take things up with their manager I will, but no little freak is going to force me to keep a defective product. It's their fault for providing the wrong size anyway." Emily worked herself up thinking about it.
Rich kept quiet as Emily ranted about the store and the hellfire she'd bring down on them. As Rebecca she'd seen it happen, and knew those employees were in for some real trouble.
The night progressed with Richard using what memories he had of this new life to manage. He felt bad for Olivia, now that she had no children.
