“Oh my god,” they all said at once, bewildered by the sheer size of the place. It wasn’t the tallest building by any means, but it was so long that the group couldn’t actually see the end.
Juliet was the most excited, but the rest couldn’t deny how cool this was. They each packed a decent amount of money, because they knew they were going to spend it all.
Although Juliet was the most excited, she was the fastest to take it all in, she grabbed Kelly by his shoulder and yanked him, he nearly stumbled over. She came to his senses and allowed her to drag him around.
Clyde and Jane was left alone. Clyde closed his mouth, Jane still had hers wide open.
“Ahem, well... what’s the plan?” Clyde asked,
She quickly snapped out of her trance,
“Oh, uhm, I suppose we just find some tasty treats!” She said, delighted. Jane was an excited person, but she was a very reserved personality, she did have her moments of extreme excitement, but naturally she stayed calm and polite, “and Clyde, don’t be afraid to just spend all your money on stupid stuff, that’s what I’m doing and I don’t doubt J&K aren’t doing the same,”
“Y-yeah, okay I will,” he said, a little nervous about the sheer size of the place, “are you going to go on your own?”
“Uhm, yeah, that was what I was planning. I want to just explore it. We’ll all meet up in the meeting zone when we’re done, ‘kay?” She said, starting to walk off.
“Yeah that’s... okay sure, see you, whenever,” he responded.
Jane walked into an aisle, Clyde slowly lost sight of her. He was alone now, with only a few employees walking around, not focusing on him.
The doors opened behind him, a couple walked in. They both looked just as happy as Juliet did. He quickly stepped out of the way and disappeared into a random aisle.
He walked through, starting to look at the candy on display. They were all different, under the same brand of course, but so much variety. It was hard to believe that the store, as large as it is, contains so much unique candy.
He picked a random bar off the shelf.
‘Strawberry Shortstack’
He smirked, it had a cute little strawberry with a face on it. It had a sticker in the corner that he hadn’t seen on any other candy before, a little green ‘TF’. It didn’t look like a brand, more reminiscent of a ‘no artificial colours’ kind of sticker.
Although it wasn’t the kind of candy he would normal pick, he thought back to what Jane had said.
It was at this moment he realised he needed a shopping cart, or at the very least a basket. He wandered around, skimming past the ‘Apple Appetisers’ and ‘Blueberry Bubblegum’, selecting the brighter ones to hold onto.
Eventually, at the end of the aisle he was in, he found a shopping basket selection against the wall. Each was a different colour, once again repeating the six colours of the rainbow pattern: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Clyde’s favourite colour was green, so he lifted up three of them and grabbed the green on. Placing the other three back down, he placed his candy inside and began to a new aisle,
“Picky, aren’t you?” A woman’s voice said, Clyde froze up, he was incredibly startled by the voice, he wasn’t prepared to see anyone else near him, he turned around to face her, but was quickly confronted by her exposed midriff.
He looked up, he could barely see her face behind her tightly packed breasts, squished into her vest and shirt. She was wearing a lavender coloured button shirt, a light purple v-neck vest, tightly fitting silky suit pants, and a bright purple bow tie. He looked up higher, only seeing a portion of her face, but taking in all the colours of her long, bright hair.
“I-” Clyde could only mutter,
“It’s fine, don’t worry I meant to spook ‘ya.” She said. She bent down, giving him a view of her face. He knew it immediately from Juliet showing him time after time.
He was looking at Alaska Blair herself.
