Jack undid their seat belt and opened the door with their arms, while Teddy used their legs to step out of the car. Teddy walked to the back door so Jack could open it and grab their backpack and throw it on. This cooperative maneuver of theirs only took a minute, but it didn't take long for them to be spotted, and people began to stare. Jack and Teddy glanced at each other and sighed before Teddy walked right by everyone and into the school.
They had talked in the car on the way over and decided they were just going to ignore people gawking and just go about their business. The first thing they had to do was figure out who's classes they should go to. During another round of rock-paper-scissors they worked out a solution. They would alternate classes starting with Jack, then Teddy, then Jack again, and the next day they would start with Teddy, then Jack.
First up was History. Teddy walked them through the door and down the stairs before Jack grabbed onto one of the desks near the back and pulled them to it. Teddy sat them down while Jack pulled his books out of their bag. After a few minutes the teacher came in and took a look around, stopping his gaze when he spotted the two headed student. "I'm sorry, but you must be new to my class, who are you?"
The entire class turned and stared at Teddy and Jack. Teddy took control of his hand and covered his face, but Matt remained unfazed, "Umm, I'm Jack. I've been in your class since..."
"Not you. I know who you are. I'm talking to that other head growing out of your shoulder!" The teacher crossed his arms and stared at the pair with a straight face. "Care to answer that? And why you're in my class?"
"I'm Teddy, and well..." Teddy said raising an eyebrow then gestured at Jack, "Me and him were fused together... So, I... kinda... have to be here?"
"Rrriiight.... Well, just stay quiet." He turned to the chalkboard and started writing page numbers for the class to read for their next test. Jack chuckled to himself as Teddy rolled his eyes. Jack began reading the first page of one of his text books while Teddy sat bored out of his mind. Teddy started twitching his legs and lightly tapping his foot.
"Shh! Stop that!" Jack whispered and shoved Teddy while glaring at him. "I'm trying to study!"
"Sorry!" Teddy whispered back, "This is just REALLY boring..."
"Well, you're the one that lost the game." Jack grinned and opened his second book to another page. "Maybe you could help! I'll read the pages from this book, you read the ones for that book."
"Oh joy!" Teddy whispered sarcastically.
"Hey! As long as we're stuck like this..." Jack quickly ran their hands across their chest, "We need to work together. Just remember, it's your class next... so it's up to you" Jack grinned wickedly as Teddy turned away and sighed, then pulled the book closer and began reading it for his friend.
