Inevitably, Jeff's mind wanders to his girlfriend, Jennifer. He thinks that if he would turn into someone's waste, he would turn into one that belongs to someone he would want to know better, however bizarre that might sound. And this would probably help with what they discussed before Jen's interview. While Jeff is confident in his girlfriend's abilities to obtain her job as a graphic designer, he knows that she is nervous about the interview. Before she left, Jen jokingly said that she wished Jeff could be there to support her during the process, to which Jeff answered with a chuckle and a word of assurance. Now that he has the Chronivac, he could perhaps fulfill that wish, albeit in an unconventional way.
Perusing through the plethora of options for this transformation, Jeff leaves most settings to their default options, thinking that it would be a test run of sorts. For his own awareness, he changes it to 50%, wantng to experience new sensations while retaining his original sense. He adjusts the world awareness to 0% to prevent outside distractions, and also in case his girlfriend feels awkward. Knowing that he will have access to the Chronivac if there is no time limit, he set time to 'Infinite'.
After fully convincing himself that this can be reversed, Jeff presses 'Start!'
At first, there is no response. Just as Jeff is about to check the settings once again, he feels his whole body starting to sting, like he is dropped in a pool of acid. Staring at his limbs, Jeff is horrifyingly surprised to see them melt away, consolidating into his torso. As a result, Jeff feels himself shortening, as his mass is compacted into a smaller and smaller volume. Eventually, Jeff is no longer seeing through eyes, but is instead perceiving vision in a 360 degree view. His other senses also changes to adapt to his living, but inaminate form.
Soon after the stinging sensation stopped, Jeff feels himself whisked away at high speed until everything stopped. When Jeff tries to see, he realizes that his surroundings is dark. Something is tightly encasing him, caressing him like a massaging session. The environment, though, is more like a sauna: hot amd humid. Concluding from the fetid smell, Jeff is sure he is in someone's bowels, with the Chronivac verifying that he is in his girlfriend's body.
As much as Jeff wanted to enjoy the fact he is there with Jen inside of her body, he admits that it felt nauseating. He could feel his surroundings becoming wetter than before, causing him to slide and turn like in a whirlpool. The liquid itself is also digging into his waste bits, causing this sensation of being cut by a flurry of sharp blades. While Jeff's life is not in danger, his consciousness is certainly not doing too well.
Jeff could only surmise that his girlfriend is having another one of those 'anxiety' moments. He remembered that right before an exam, she would often complain about stomachaches. Only now does Jeff understand its true meaning. He partially regrets becoming another issue in her digestive tract on top of her preexisting anxiety.
Jeff could only hear faint murmurs beyond his confines, assuming that they are the voices of his girlfriend and the interviewer. Jeff certainly can't make out their conversation, but he still hopes to figure out how he could help or else he would literally be a piece of shit.
