Doug and TJ moved through the forest as fast as their monster bodies would let them.

as they hurried to the car back, the transformation was gradually starting to reverse, thus, turning them back into human.
First, Doug noticed small spots of flesh appearing on his skin, which began to expand. And TJ noticed the same thing as well.
Doug's 10 Small black beady eyes vanished, one at a time, from his forehead.
Then, Doug regained his brown hair, and his beard turned brown again.
and, like his 10 small black beady eyes, his extra nipples, and bellybuttons, vanished, one at a time, from his chest and belly.
TJ'S hair turned brown, and he saw his feet shrinking down to his shoe size [8] and then he saw his hands become human hands, with 4 fingers and a thumb, 5 digits.
"We'd better keep moving, dad!" TJ said. "We're becoming more human by the second!"
"Yes we are!" Doug said, upon seeing his left tentacles turning back into an arm.
Doug & TJ hurtled back toward the car park, jumping over logs and rocks as they did, with their monster bodies changing to humans as they did, leaving thick footprints in the earth as they did.
