Dinner with the Soul Drive and other things

added by O 2 years ago AP O Magic Robot

After Ewart and Neela's "talk" the group of teens decided that maybe they could use a night to eat. Making their way towards the soul drive diner, Neela now peppered Sachiko with questions.

"So your a kitsune," she asked.

"Yeah but I'm also part angel," Sachiko responded.

"And you live with an old wizard," Neela stated. "And shes training someone called a Catalyst?"

"Neela," Ewart sighed. "Can we just get something to eat? I'm starved." The others agreed, as they now made their way towards the diner.

"Um Sachiko shouldn't you change," Gail asked. "Oops," the kitsune child smiled. Snapping her fingers the young girl now shot up in size becoming a 13 year old Asian girl with white hair. A very pretty girl who Ewart immediatly began staring at.

"What are you gawking at Ewart," Neela exclaimed, smacking her best friend upside the head.

"Ow nothing," Ewart grumbled. "And what's the big idea? Why you keep hitting me!" Sachiko and her friends simply shook their heads as the two began yet an awkward arguement.

Taking a booth inside, Sachiko and her friends saw the Soul Drives busily serving the patrons. Sachiko now began perusing the menu, trying to decide on what exactly she wanted to eat.

Sapphire couldn't help but smile, clearing a table as she now collected the tip. Business had been steady but nothing she couldn't handle. "Slow day huh sis," Ruby asked. Sapphire shrugged gazing at the half filled diner. "A bit but not everyday can be a busy one."

"Girls," Emerald stated as she poked her head out the kitchen. "One of you want to take that group of kids?" Sapphire and Ruby glanced over at the booth wincing. Teenagers could be troublesome, some okay treating the Soul Drives respectfully while others were incredibly rude. More often than they cared to remember they had experienced teens being rude, skipping out on the bill or even trying to sabotage their systems just for laughs. Needless to say, it was a coin toss as to how it could go.

"Come on girls," Emerald said. "Its our duty to serve! Let's give these kids the best experience possible."

"Then why dont you serve them," Sapphire said. Emerald now began nervously glancing around the restaurant trying to come up with an excuse. "Im..um...working the grill today," she said quickly. "And besides, I'm ready for a recharge. Bye!" The green gynoid now quickly disappeared inside the kitchen, leaving the blue and red gynoids alone.

"I swear she downloaded a program for excuses," Ruby grumbled. "Remind me to delete any recent downloads shes had after work."

Sapphire giggled, smiling at her sister. "I got this Ruby," she said.

"You sure sis?"

"Yeah I'm sure," Sapphire stated. "Know you havent been thrilled to deal with teenagers after those kids tried to download a computer virus into you."

"You're a lifesaver," Ruby sighed. "I owe you."

"I'll keep that in mind next time we go out to get our surface's buffed and waxed."

If Sapphire was programmed for apprehension, she felt she would be experiencing it now. Humans, especially adolescents, could be the worse. She distinctly remembered a group of football players throwing their drinks on her before running out on the bill. Still, this was her purpose and she was only too happy to perform it. "Hi," she said cheerfully a smile forming on her feline face. "What can I get for you kids?"

"How are your milkshakes," Sachiko asked.

"Best in town," Ruby smiled. Sachiko smiled happily as the group now ordered up a round of milkshakes. Ruby now went about mixing up the shakes in front of the teens, much to Sachikos delight. "Mmm," Sachiko exclaimed, her eyes going wide. "This is delicious! Thank you!" Sapphire smiled, seeing the looks of gratitude on the teens faces. Maybe this would go well after all.

"Great job last week Casseus," the Boss stated happily as the two now reviewed footage.

"Thank you Boss," Casseus stated.

"No thank you," the Boss said happily. "Not only were you able to get your partner out safely, you actually hurt the owner of Spells R Us. That's no easy feat."

"We have history," Casseus grumbled. "Now you said you needed my assistance with something?"

The Boss nodded, bringing up footage from the Normals recent surveillance activities of Sachiko. As Casseus watched, he gasped as he beheld Abolith and Fukushu.

"So you know them?"

"Yes," Casseus growled. "Fukushu and Abolith. Old allies, and rivals."

The Boss nodded as he now pointed to Abolith. "Well Fukushu we dont know," he said. "But that woman, Abolith, we've done business before. She goes by the name Abigail Knight."

"An alias almost as old as she is," Casseus stated. "I was never a fan of either of them."

The Boss nodded once more, listening as Fukushu now threatened his men. "These kitsune are multiplying like rabbits," he whispered. "Sticking their noses in our business."

"What do you propose Boss," Casseus asked.

The Boss smirked, his eyes glowing brighter underneath his hood. "I think its time the kitsune go the way of the werewolf."

"How do you propose entering their kingdom," Casseus asked. "The spell to open the doorway is know only to kitsune."

"Where theres a will theres a way," the Boss said happily. "Trust me."
