“Pway,” Leah said. Suddenly, her legs buckled under her. Her fall was cushioned by the thick swim diaper she was now wearing. A pink cover was over her swim diaper, all that remained of her magical swimsuit. The woman chuckled.
“Yes, I suppose you were playing. And I shouldn’t have really asked you what you were doing anyways, since you’re so young! I’m surprised you could answer my question at your age! After all, you’re just a baby.” Leah realized abruptly that the child she had bumped into was also wearing only a swim diaper and diaper cover. Judging by the size of the child, she was a year old. Like the woman had said, she was a baby, not even old enough to be considered a toddler.
Upon the realization, Leah burst into tears. At one, she couldn’t do anything! She couldn’t even eat only solid food! Warmth spread through her diaper, reminding her of one of the other side effects of being so young. She couldn’t control her bladder or bowels.
“Oh, it’s okay, sweetie,” the woman cooed. She scooped her child into her arms, then picked Leah up as well. “Let’s find you your parents, okay?”
Leah held her breath, praying that the swimsuit would work its magic again and turn her the age of this young mother.
