As she reached the parking lot, Sarah caught sight of her car. The rusted piece of junk was almost as old as her and had been what she was stuck driving since high school. She had hoped to be able to afford a new one soon, but if she was headed for another year of school expenses that was unlikely.
"Eh maybe 2 more years of school will help me settle on a more useful degree," she remarked to herself, "I wish my car has been replaced with a fully paid off new car that's in my name."
Both her and the car briefly glowed and when that subsided, Sarah found herself dressed in an outfit she had often worn during her Sophmore year while her car had been replaced with a car that locked fresh of the lot. The car was a pretty standard commuter car and Sarah briefly considered whether she should have wished for a sportscar or something, but decided that wouldn't have been her style regardless.
After confirming her keys now worked on the new car, Sarah climbed in and started the engine. Mildly surprised at not immediately being deafened by the sound of the engine, Sarah wondered what she should do now.
She probably still had to finish packing up her dorm for when her parents arrived in a couple days to move her stuff home for the summer. But is quietly packing up her stuff like she had every other year really how she wanted to spend her last days on campus? Maybe she should start being more adventurous.
