Sarah managed to avoid anymore wishes over the weeks before camp and started to feel like everything was under control. Despite not planning on making anymore wishes, Sarah continued carrying the stone with her just in case she needed it.
After two weeks, she set out for camp. It was a long drive and Sarah found herself growing increasingly exhausted along the way. Because of this, she was slow to react when a deer appeared on the road in front of her.
Sarah made a panicked turn and slammed into a tree. Her head also smashed against the dashboard before the airbags deployed. After recovering a bit from the shock, she stepped out to examine the damage and groaned. The car was a complete wreck! Pulling out her phone, Sarah found she had no phone signal either.
Sarah considered her situation as best she could in her likely concussed state. She was in the middle of nowhere with no idea where the nearest source of help would be. Ultimately she had no choice, she had to do this.
Pulling out the stone, Sarah wished for the car to be fixed. As soon as the light vanished, the car was as good as new. Unfortunately, Sarah knew she had made a mistake when she realized her splitting headache remained. She should have wished to have not been in an accident so she wouldn't be injured! Sighing she wished all her injuries would be completely healed. Instantly all her pain subsided.
Now 16, Sarah consulted her new memories for what she was supposed to be doing. It turned out reality simply adjusted to make the camp counselor program something she had signed up for during her Sophomore year of high school.
Still exhausted from the drive, Sarah decided she could mope about losing two more years after she had safely arrived. So, she climbed into her car and began driving once more.
