Lindsay was a normal 19-year-old college freshmen, she was enjoying living “free” from her parents and enjoying the college life as best as she could. She was a little on the shy side, but she was getting more used to going out to parties and the like. The one thing she really hated so far in college was 7am classes and it was even worse when it was a stupid class like Geology.
Lindsay walked into the house just off campus and tossed her bag onto the coffee table before falling down on the couch. It was a simple four-bedroom house located in a college town across the state from her hometown. In truth as a freshman, she wasn’t supposed to live off campus, no she was suppose to live in a dorm like every other freshmen. However, her father owned the house and normally made a good amount of money renting it out to college students. She enjoyed living off campus, but she did not escape being roommate free, even if one of the roommates she had known since she was born.
“You look like hell?” inquired her older sister Barbara as she walked into the room with a cup of coffee in her hands.
“I hate geology…why do I need this? I am studying graphic design.” Stated Lindsay as she rolled over and looked at her older sister, she was clearly her father’s daughter long blonde hair, large but powerful frame which was helped by years of boxing lessons and was tall even for a woman. Barbara looked like a woman who could break most men, while looking sexy while doing it. While she had taken after their mother, shorter but far more graceful and while Lindsay had taken up boxing/kick boxing she had taken up gymnastics. Her wild long blonde hair reached all the way to the small of her back even if she normally kept it in ponytail.
“Well doesn’t that one boy you like take this class as well?” inquired Barbara with a playful grin as she watched her little sister blush up a storm, her dark red hair looked even funnier when she blushed.
“Maybe…but the teacher gave us some stupid homework identify some stupid rock.” said Lindsay as she reached into her book bag and pulled a crystal of some kind.
“Could be worse…” added a new voice as a tall woman, with a shoulder length black hair came down the stairs.
“Morning Stacy.” said Lindsay as Stacy walked over to her chair and removing the book from where she had left it the night before sat down. She was one of their other roommates, she was in Barbara’s year and where Barbara was powerful like Lindsay, Stacy was graceful and the two of them had become friends when they worked out together doing gymnastics in the school gym.
“I am sorry if I woke you up when I got up.” apologized Barbara as she gave Stacy a playful smile.
“Of course not. I have a 10 am class today anyhow.” said Stacy as Barbara walked over and gave her a kiss.
“At least let me make it up to you, I’ll start making some breakfast for us.” said Barbara to her girlfriend.
“Thanks….” said Stacy with a warm smile.
“Can I get some too?” inquired Lindsay
“Sure…thing little sister, I’ll even make some for the princess whenever she decides to get up.” Answered Barbara as the sound of the shower turning on filled the air.
“Sounds like Elizabeth is up.” Stated Stacy as they made note of their other roommate, she was a year behind Stacy and Barbara but a year a head of Lindsay. They where all friends but Elizabeth was clearly used to more upper-class things than any of the other three women in the house. She was also the shortest and while not as stuck up as she used to be, she was still stuck up. The funny thing was that she and Lindsay had become fast friends even though their personalities where almost polar opposites, Lindsay was load and emotional around those she trusted, and Elizabeth was reserved and contained even among those she was close to.
“I guess I should just get started on this stupid assignment the sooner I get it done the better.” Stated Lindsay as she picked up the crystal and began to look at the stupid thing.
