Before Lindsay could go beyond the basics of identifying this stupid crystal for geology class the doorbell rang as Stacy stood up and walked toward the door. She opened it as two figures stood in the doorway.
One was a normal size man in his early twenties with golden blonde hair, deep blue eyes, broad shoulders, and smooth face. Over one shoulder was a large black bookbag and he wore his normal hoodie and blue jeans. He had been here multiple times since he was Elizabeth’s boyfriend, and he was expected the other one was not.
The other was of Lindsay’s age, a freshman with dark brown hair, deep green eyes and the cutest face Lindsay could imagine. She almost yip in surprise as she saw her crush standing in the doorway. He was wearing the same thing he had been wearing in class only 20 minutes ago, a green t-shirt which showed that while he was thin there was some muscles under his cloths and was likely stronger than he looked. He was shorter than the other man, just a hair taller than Lindsay which is what she liked.
“James…sorry Elizabeth is still in the shower want to come in? Who is your friend?” inquired Stacy as Lindsay fought back a blush.
“Oscar, he was in the year behind me in high school and we ran into each other.” explained James as Oscar turned his green eyes on Lindsay.
“Your Lindsay rights?” inquired Oscar as Lindsay only nodded and fought down the blush as much as she could. “We share a geology class, have you started on the identifying homework, maybe we can work together.”
“I am sure she will love that.” Said a new voice as Barbara entered the living room. “I’ll two more breakfasts, why don’t you get started.”
“Thank you.” Said Oscar as Lindsay glared at her sister, she knew what she was doing and was enjoying the moment.
“Morning James.” Said a new voice as Elizabeth walked down the stairs, her long light blonde was pulled back into a ponytail which she would braid before going out. Her blue eyes somehow shown in her face, she was somehow even shorter than Lindsay who was only 5’4 compared to her sister’s Barbara’s 5’11. She was wearing a white t-shirt and a pair of tight blue jeans.
“Morning.” Said James as he moved forward and gave Elizabeth a kiss, he had to bend down to kiss her because he was almost a foot taller than his girlfriend.
“Barbara is making breakfast and James’s friend Oscar is helping Elizabeth with some homework.” explained Barbara
“Oh…ok.” Said Elizabeth as they went in to grab their breakfast.
A few minutes later everyone came back out with a rather simple breakfast of toast, eggs, and lots of coffee.
“So any idea what this thing is?” inquired Lindsay “Besides a pain…I hate Geology.”
“Oh…that is too bad, I am studying to be a geologist.” Explained Oscar as Lindsay flushed even more as Oscar looked at the crystal. “Still, I have no idea what this is, I identified mine in a few minutes, but this is different.”
“Well, lets just save it for later.” Said Lindsay as she put it on the edge of the coffee table, however she did not put it far enough on, it rolled off the edge and fell smashing into multiple pieces as a wave of energy shot outward in all directions filling the room.
“Ok…what the fuck was that?” inquired Barbara
