There were rumors, rumors of a strange train that can appear at any train station, no matter where it was, no matter when, no matter how. The rumor's went something like this.
If you stood on the station platform at night, when it would rain on the night of a full moon, then the nearest telephone would ring. It can be any telephone from public, to cellular to landline. It would keep ringing until you either left the station or you answered it. On the other end, a monotone almost robotic voice would speak, slightly muffled by static but still clear enough to understand the words it was saying. "Would you like to go... Elsewhere?" would say the voice. If the person answering would refuse the offer and had no intention to change or go elsewhere, then nothing would happen. But if the person wanted to see what this "elsewhere" was, even if they accepted or denied the offer, then a large train would appear at the station. the train would look antique, made of black metal with green paint covering the passenger cars with windows that peered into furnished lounges and passenger rooms, though the glass of the windows were tinted so no one can make out the details of whats inside. the train would have the words "Elsewhere Express" on its side with a butterfly symbol next to it. At this point this would be the last chance for the person to turn back, if they left the station, the train would vanish. But if they ever do step foot on the train, the doors would close behind them and train would move on its own, leaving the station and the city the new passenger came from.
Where as the train would go, that part of the rumor is unclear and sometimes inconsistent as those who spread the rumor never went onboard the train.
Some say that the train had a variety of cars and attractions for its passengers to enjoy, from a lounge, to a bar, to a cassino, to a spa to more wildish and absurd possibilties, some say there is even a full water-park on the train. Though not all the cars, passengers and workers of the train are as they seem. The train seems to be able to change matter and alter reality as it see's fit, changing the new passengers bodies, personalities and identities as it pleases even if the passenger is aware or not. Some people say the train would give you a new identity and drop you off in the nearest city for starting a completly new life. others would refute this part of the rumor, saying that the train would instead make you one of its new dennizens to guide the new people that come onboard and to show them a good time.
Other people have a completly different idea of what the "Elsewhere" can be, saying that the train instead drops off its passenger or passenger's into a new and foreing world with its own rules and history. It might drop a person of at a train station of a Sci-fi world from a novel. It might drop a passenger off into a world of Anthro animals. Or it can drop someone into a gay fantasy world where only males exist.
No matter how much people debate, they still don't know what the train is, but it's just a silly rumor, nothing like that can truly exist. Though someone is currently waiting at a train station, whether they know about the rumors or not is unclear, what is though is that it was a dark night with a downpour of rain on a full moon night.
