With the second full week of May, schools and colleges were officially in the "close down" phase. Usually this would mean that students would be cleaning out their lockers, dorm rooms, or similar things, but there were a few other things going on in Animalia and its colonies because of the 2021 IAC.
---
Animalia Ambassadoria was having its final meeting of the school year, which was focusing on which members would be assigned to where for the IAC Games.
"... and we've all got to remember that some of the colonies have been expanding due to the influx of new members." said Miles, reading over the latest developments in the colonies. "So things might be a little more crowded in those locations."
"So..." said Jen-Jen, also reading over the latest developments. "One of the things we'll be covering in Dino City will be the new, 'upper class' district?"
"Sure looks like it." said Harvey, "Sophie and Roland have been posting updates abut that regularly, but now those new upper class members are moving in to their new... habitats." he joked, generating a general laugh.

As the meeting wound up, Animalia Ambassadoria finally got a look at a picture of Juliet's family mansion since it was finally done being fumigated.
"It's really beautiful." said Ashley Jenkins.
"I'm probably going to be sent there to do some coverage." said Miles, who already knew some of the plan. "But it's also got a reputation for being... haunted."
"Why would that be?" asked Melvin.
"Because, according to Juliet's notes," said Miles, reading what Juliet had given Animalia Ambassadoria, "it was built during the renaissance, damaged during the French Revolution, repaired after Napoleon came to power, renovated during the Victorian Era, and even occupied by Nazis during WWII."
"But it's also one that appears to be the 'least haunted'." said Jen-Jen, also reading the notes, "The most that happens there are just some blue lights floating by the windows at night, no regular ghosts."
"But we'd still better be prepared for things like strange things appearing in photos or videos." said Miles

Mercy Elaga, meanwhile, was meeting with Miss Fabina over their respective programs.
"... so you'd better prepare to have multiple questions along the same line asked." said Miss Fabina, referring to her own interview.
"It must be like their brains are stuck on a loop when they ask questions like that." said Mercy, both irritated and amused.
"But in regards to Rosie's ex-husband," said Miss Fabina, smiling mischievously at the idea, "they're planning on having him become a prey Animalian so in case he and Rosie ever meet up, he might be too afraid to beat on her."
