"It it it is alive!" Bruno gasped.
Merrick laughed because Bruno was totally tenting his own Speedo. He replied, "Of course, it's alive. It's Chad. As long as I put him back on before he becomes human, he reverts to being a Speedo. Now wearing Chad will give me all his moves and strategies, so I will win the water polo championship. But I want to keep wearing Chad after that."
"Right," Bruno replied never taking his eyes off Chad. He continued, "the winning captain's Speedo is sealed in lucite."
"That's not the problem. Coach has a duplicate suit that he will swap me for Chad, so the duplicate gets framed. But Coach gets Chad. I need to get another duplicate Speedo to switch for Chad before I switch with Coach Sinclair."
Chad's lips mouthed in a faint whispering voice as he inflated to about the size of dodge ball, "Buh-no, puh-lease, hel-up me."
In one swift movement to both Merrick's and Chad's surprise, Bruno grabbed the swollen blue human Speedo hybrid and pulled it on over his own Speedo.
