Tim pawed frantically at the watch, desperate to save himself from being trapped forever as an enclosed animal at the mercy of humans who thought of him as female and thought they owned him. Oh, how he wished a gerbil's life didn't involve being so uncoordinated! He could see and feel his fingers and thumbs, but he couldn't seem to make them do much. Finally, somehow, he managed to trigger a supernatural light emerging from the device. Yes! He did it! What ... what did he do?
Tim felt a breeze blowing and sunlight beating down on his bare back. He could see grass, and he could taste grass in his mouth, too. He heard mooing nearby. Looking up from the ground, he saw black cows grazing idly and paying hardly any attention to him or to each other. He thought they looked oddly small somehow, basically human-sized. Remembering how small he had been a human gerbil, he realized distressingly that he may, in fact, be cow-sized. Beyond the cattle he could see a wire fence in the distance. Apparently, the watch had succeeded in getting him out of the gerbil cage and into a cow pasture. Ideally, it would have switched him with one of the humans so he could try to sort this whole mess out, but his current size, posture, and nudity would seem to suggest a different outcome.
"Oh, boy, this could be bad," thought Tim, realizing he had swapped lives with one of the cattle. Seeing udders under all of the animals around him didn't do much to reassure him about whether he had made it back into a masculine lifestyle, either. He could see the watch still on his wrist, but he couldn't seem to use his hands as anything except supporting his presumably intense weight. He wasn't sure how he was going to use the watch in this scenario, but at least he couldn't see anyone walking toward him with the express purpose of taking his trinket away, so maybe he would have time to figure something out. He did take a moment to mentally giggle at the thought of a tiny cow standing around in a gerbil cage somewhere.
