Bruce had certainly been more of a hindrance than anything to Edwin's personal life, impacting his grades, his sleep, his mood when interacting with his friends, and even his dating life. It seemed to be only Edwin who had a problem with the guy, seeing as how he pushed himself as a trustworthy woodsmith around the neighborhood, which meant that Edwin had to constantly deal seeing him around his own house as well.
He saw fit to constantly flirt with the women of the neighborhood, including his mom, so Edwin supposed Bruce had this coming eventually. Almost as if on cue, the Latino boy could hear him enter his garage again, firing up one of his many power tools.
"That does it..." Edwin let out with a frown on his face, going through Bruce's profile using the DNA% Feature. Opening up the list of animals to apply to Bruce, Edwin decided to go with something simple; a dog. And not just any dog, a female bitch. "He may think he's everyone's best friend, but he sure as hell isn't. Lemme fix that for him, and add a little something special..."
Upon selecting the Dog option, it seemed that Edwin would have to set three more things; a time limit, reality alteration settings, and a percentage of how much of a dog Bruce would become. The time limit was simple enough, Edwin put it to indefinite, figuring that if he wanted Bruce to change back, he'd just do it himself.
The reality settings were a bit more confusing, a bunch of individual options that would effect how people saw Bruce and how he'd fit in with his new form. Eventually, Edwin had gotten around to making it so that no one but him and Bruce would notice the changes, anyone else acting like whatever form he'd take would be normal.
That just left the settings percentage, with the Chronivac giving a good idea of what changes would come as the percentages went up.
10% seemed to be your typical anime cat girl kind of thing, with the ears and tail of the animal you wanted. 25% took that further, changing hands, and feet. 40% added certain animalistic behaviors, and blurred the line between human and animal, granting changes to internal organs and arms and legs.
60% was basically an anthro version of whatever animal one would choose, giving someone their features entirely while keeping some human ones, while 80% would make someone less human than animal, essentially turning them into an animal with some human features.
100% was the option that had Edwin feeling somewhat wary, as it transformed someone into an animal, in body and mind. By using 95%, he'd still leave someone with their human mind, but 100% would eliminate that, simply making them a real animal, essentially killing their old self in the process. The only thing that made him consider it, was the fact that he could make the transformation temporary.
In this case, though, Edwin figured he'd still be able to turn Bruce back no matter what happened, if he even wanted to, that is. That left him with the decision; what percentage would Edwin be going with to use on Bruce?
