It was 7:45 A.M. and the student services desk in Zeldatown High's front office was still closed. Jeff stood thier alone until a familiar voice one he had two days greeted his ears.
"Hello there Jeff!"
"Oh, hi Lisa!"
"Dang it you didn't do it."
"Oh shit you're right general Lisa."
"Saved yourself you did."
"So Lisa what brings here so early? Also are you sore from Saturday?"
"I need a new ID plus I already came here earlier for morning soccer practice and yes actually just a tad bit, you did a really great job Jeff!"
"Oh wow I am here for the same thing, and thank you although I did have a great body to work with."
"I appreciate the compliment, hey is your last name Harkin by any chance?"
"Yes how come?"
"I liked that chemistry meme you made for Mr.Lewis's class!"
"Oh you're in A.P. Chem cool I took that last year"
"Yeah he mentions you from time to time"
"By the way Lisa, did you take A.P. Bio last year?"
"Yes, did Ms.Stevensen mention me?"
"Almost all the time. Considering you're the only student in like 6 years to get a 5 on the exam"
"Oh wow, I mean Mr.Lewis always talks about your five as well"
"Wow"
"Hey Jeff, one thing I don't get is, we are both top level seniors here, yet we have never met until now!"
"I know it's weird, hey you mentioned soccer practice how's the season going?"
"Thanks for asking, season hasn't started yet that, have to wait a month, but, I feel like it's going to be a dumpster fire."
"How come?"
"It's the whole team, all the good players graduated last year and I am stuck with last year's shitty JV team that got moved up to varsity because we don't have enough girls !"
"Are they bad at playing?"
"Not just that, they give no fucking effort! I can forgive someone not being gifted but they have no discipline! I just want to win one more state title before we graduate in the spring, but these girls are killing me!"
"I'm sure they will come around!"
"Thank you for the encouragement Jeff, my bad if I was just going on forever!"
"No you're fine!"
"Hey Jeff do you want to hangout Saturday?"
"Yeah actually that sounds nice, let's do it!"
