Lina met up with Amy outside the library after her classes were done, ready to go back to the store. Amy had barely finished explaining her encounter with Samantha before the redhead turned up. Amy introduced the two girls to each other. Lina recognized her vaguely from some History seminar they had taken together.
Together, all three of them returned to the store, and entered it. Lina looked introspective, chewing her lip while she debated internally. Samantha however looked like a kid that had just entered a candy store for the first time. Her eyes were wide as she scanned around the nearest aisles. She gaped at an umbrella stand filled with Wizard's staves before her eyes flicked to a rack of socks and stockings, moving from them to a row of TV remotes, before turning her head to peer at shelves stocked with multicolored potions in bottles.
She turned to look up at Amy, eyes shining with wonder, doing her characteristic hair tuck that Amy was fast becoming enamored with.
"This is insane!" she said, "it looks like there's just as much modern stuff as classic fantasy artifacts!"
Amy smiled at her, "And we have all afternoon for you to pick through it."
She turned to her friend Lina. The dirty-blonde girl was still chewing her lip, her eyes unfocused.
"So Lina," asked Amy, causing Lina to start and look up at her as though she'd forgotten the statuesque horse girl was there, "what are you going to do?"
Lina flushed. "I-I thought about it a lot last night," she said, "Hell, I couldn't stop thinking about it, and I want to become..."
