Hector Ramiro was definitely going to be a hard nut to crack. He's always had a bad temper and his respect for women was never high. Being turned into a sheep didn't really do much to change his attitude. As a quick look online would prove, rams can be ornery and headstrong creatures. The only real change to Hector's attitude was that he found dogs and wolves more intimidating. Which is fortunate that the Animalia Police Force was mainly made up of wolves and German Shepherds. But it would take more than intimidation to get through to Hector. Of course, Animalians had their ways...

Hector wasn't particularly happy about being turned into a black sheep, even if he was a strong ram with impressive horns. He was starting to wonder if prison was a better alternative. It may have been a shorter life, but at least he'd have his dignity. He had heard rumors of how Animalians liked to rehabilitate criminals. But he wouldn't break that easily. He was a lot tougher than those feeble women.
He probably should have been more on his guard when he went into the shower room. He had just finished with a workout and just about to change into his street clothes. Not long after he had walked in, two big wolves grabbed him, both in police uniform. "Phew, this one is smelling pretty ripe," said one of the wolves.
"He's in definite need of a bath," said the other.
"Get off me! I have my rights!" snapped Hector.
"We're just giving you some grooming. You have a problem with that?" asked the first wolf, growling. Unfortunately for Hector, his ovine instincts kicked in, making him quail from the wolf's aggression.
"Welp, into the tub," said the other wolf.
"Tub?" asked Hector. He wasn't even going to have the dignity of taking a shower, A large plastic tub had been brought in and Hector was stripped and tossed into it. What followed next was some aggressive scrubbing. It wasn't just aggressive to teach Hector a lesson. Hector's wool was already getting a bit matted and cluttered. It took more extensive scrubbing to get his fleece completely clean. The extended time was enough to leave the bathwater rather dark by the time Hector was finished.
"You definitely need to pay more attention to your hygiene," commented one wolf.
"If you can't manage it on your own, you probably ought to book regular visits to the spa," said the other.
"Fine, great, can I go now?" asked Hector, looking miserably wet.
"Walking around in wet wool? You could get a cold doing that," said the first wolf.
"Not to mention the summer's only going to get hotter. I'd say you could use a trim," said the second wolf.
"Trim?" asked Hector weakly. While he had been a ram for only a short time, his fleece had grown thick enough. Usually, sheep only needed to be sheared in the spring, after winter had ended so that they would have a short enough coat to make it through summer without overheating and that it's thickened up again by winter. Of course, this differs from region to region. But in any case, Hector had a thick enough fleece to show this wasn't a waste of time. It was certainly quite humiliating enough to be shaved down like that, even if he felt cooler now.
"Well, that'll produce quite a bit of yarn," commented one wolf.
"Yeah, but there's a limited amount of colors you can dye it," said the other.
"No matter, I'm sure Hector will be wearing it again soon enough," said the first wolf.
"Might make a nice shirt out of it," said the other.
When Hector was finally let go, he did feel lighter and not as burdened in the growing summer heat. That didn't mean he was happy about the ordeal. The worst part was knowing it wasn't over. Not just that he'd have to be sheared again at some later time, but there was bound to be more punishments in store for him.
