Samantha wondered what she could wish for,
“I could just start with the obvious,” she whispered to herself, “I wish I was a million dollars richer,”
With her bank app still open, she went to refresh the page, but instead she realised her account already had her original balance with a million stuck onto it,
“Wow,” she whispered to herself, “I’m a millionaire!” She delightfully added.
“Hey Samantha, alright in there?” Rachel said after knocking at the bathroom door,
“Oh!” Samantha yelped, “yes I’ll be out in a moment,” she lied. Samantha had never liked Rachel. She had been Diana’s friend since college, and an absolute pain in Samantha’s ass. Rachel clearly didn’t like Samantha either, always speaking down to her as if she was better than Samantha. It drove her nuts.
Samantha unlocked the door and opened it, greeted by Rachel with her head cocked to one side, tapping her foot against the tiled floor,
“You were in there for a while,” Rachel said to Samantha in a judgemental way,
“Yeah, I was,” Samantha responded bluntly, “is there a problem?” She asked Rachel in a sarcastic tone,
“Excuse me, do you really think it’s—” Rachel started, but was interrupted,
“Girls, can I have a little help?” Diana called from across the house,
“See what you’ve done?” Rachel angrily said to Samantha, pushing her shoulder, causing her back to hit the wall.
Rachel then stormed off to find Diana before Samantha could even start moving. Ever since the day she met her, still a bitch.
“Sometimes I just wish she wouldn’t look down on me!” Samantha said to herself, then immediately covered her mouth, “Shit, what have I done!?”
