Sometime earlier.
Adam leans against the wall of the old Terra Falls Academy, bored. He didn't expect that Jayden would actually be stupid enough to go through with the dare of breaking into the 'haunted' old school. He wishes he stole some of his dad's cigs to pass the time but it seems he's stuck waiting out here until
George is doing push-ups on the pavement, apparently he skipped his usual 'before-bed-workout-session' to come watch Jayden be an idiot. Roger meanwhile is just pacing around nervously.
"Do.. you think he's alright? Maybe he fell? Maybe some broke glass cut him and he's bleeding out.,. oh my god what have we done, do either of you know first aid? I don't know first aid... maybe I can look up how to do first aid-"
"Shut up Roger, Jayden's fine I just got a text, it's probably him saying he wants us to bail him out." Adam interjects suddenly as his phone beeps.
Roger walks over and George even jumps up from his last push-up to see what's going on.
"Hm... wait..." Adam says as he squints his eyes at the text.
"What's wrong?" George ignores with raised eyebrow.
"Its... it's in some weird Asian shit. Roger you're smart, read this." Adam explains as he tosses Roger his phone. Roger looks it over and scratches his head.
"Its Japanese... uh it says... uh..."
"Spit it out Roger." Adam demands.
"Uh... it says, and I quote, Kunnie-Chan, I still can't believe mum and dad are letting you go to Terra Falls, and that you're bringing your friends. Come meet when first thing when you arrive. My dorm room is at..." he trails off as he reads out some direction and room numbers.
"Who the hell is Kunnie-Chan? And why is Jayden sending shit to us in Japanese?" Adam fires at Roger, who just meekly shrugs and hands Adam his phone back. Adam tucks the phone back away, not noticing as the name Jayden glitches into 'Yumiko'. The glitching spreads through Adams phone even as its tucked deep away in his pocket, with the few pictures Adam has stored all getting corrupted before restoring into new form, many of Japan or of various Japanese girls.
"Maybe he found a English-to-Japanese translator and thought it'd be an amusing prank. Also, I didn't know you knew Japanese Roger," George says.
"Uh... I think I took some classes a while ago, its kinda blurry but when the laid eyes on the text it kinda just popped into my mind you know?" Roger says.
Adam ignore the two and looks at the building, the directions Roger read out going through his mind. With a small smile of vindication, he decides that this weird text is just Jayden trying bail out but using this Japanese nonsense so they don't notice how much of a wimp he is. Whatever, its getting late anyway and the cops will probably notice them if they wait outside the old abandoned school too long.
The three climb over the fence and head towards the reception, which they arrive too with little issue apart from Roger needing George's help from over. Adam doesn't want to admit it, but he also had some difficulty getting over, but in his desire to ignore this failure in 'manliness' he doesn't notice how his limbs have shrunk subtly as he climbed. In fact even George had some trouble climbing over the fence, despite having done must greater feats of athleticism in the past, however he writes this off due to the late hour of the day and the fact he was just working out.
The trio continue into the reception, Adam walking towards the direction of the Dorms only plow headfirst into a glass security door.
"Oww! Shit,..,! shit..." Adam swears, not noticing how his voice shrieks to a new higher pitched tone than he's used to.
"Are you.. uh... alright, Adam?" Roger asks gently, his voice seeming sweater than usual. Adam brushes off his concern and pulls himself up himself, not noticing as he has to stretch out his shrinking arms to grab onto the nearby desk, as he pulls himself back up, some darkening hair falls over his vision which he quickly blows off.
"It says we need student IDs to enter," George says, pausing only to brush his chest as his finely toned abs begin to disperse.
"What..?" Adam says as he looks up to find an ID Scanner. He briefly wonders how Jayden apparently got passed it in the first place, but reasons he must’ve either found an old I.D or something.
“Uh… I found some old student I.Ds here but…” Roger begins only to be cut off by Adam.
“Just toss me one so we can get going and find big si-“ he coughed as his voice raises in pitch somewhat “-ugh I mean find Jayden.”
Roger complies, handing a I.D to Adam while leaving two for himself and George. Adam quickly uses the scanner, finding that it’s surprisingly still working despite the building having been abandoned.
As the door opens he stores the I.D away in pocket, his hands stretching in some areas while feeling looser in others as his leg slim down to a new smooth figure.
In his rush he doesn’t notice that the I.D reads ‘Kunnie’.
Adam brushes off a strain of black hair which fell into vision as his hair grew out, musing quietly he’ll need to get a haircut sometime… although Yutori did say her hair looked cuter like this- wait what.
“Ugh, what’s with my head.” Adam mutters as he runs his sifting face as it gains an East Asian complexion similar to Yumiko’s.
“Already, gi-guys, let’s go find Yumik- ugh…” he coughed as his voice became softer and cuter, “I mean let’s go find Jayden.”
Luckily neither George nor Roger noticed his slip up. With them both before too busy picking their own I.D cards. With Roger getting one reading ‘Yutori’ and George getting one with the name ‘Tami’, both names seeming oddly familiar to Adam. In fact both Roger and George seemed somewhat off, smaller more petite looking, although it was difficult to tell with the lack of lighting along with Adam’s growing headache making focusing on anything besides Yumik- Jayden difficult. In fact though, everything does seem slightly bigger… unless he shrunk.
Adam violently shakes his head and pushes away the odd thoughts, refocusing his full attention to just finding Jayden and getting the hell out of this place. As Roger and George walk to join him, Adam does a small slightly girlish pose which neither remark upon and then places a hand on his hip in a rather girly posture.
“大丈夫女の子. 行こう!” (Okay girls. Let’s go) He announces, his voice somehow sounding even higher before he catches himself and almost blushes “Uh… I mean let’s… let’s just get this done with..”
He then proceeds to walk onwards before either of his friends can comment, causing them to both follow behind him in instinct
