"I-I..." Clark stammered and squirmed in Nick's arms, feeling not a day older than his ten years. His shame was the deep, gnawing kind exclusive to kids getting caught doing something REALLY bad. "I'm s-sorry, Nick, I'm s-so sorry, I didn't mean to - "
"Hey, hey." Nick cuddled Clark a little closer, heartbroken at seeing his friend shaking and close to tears. He found himself overcome with the same strange feeling that had struck him when he saw Clark naked and when the younger boy's butt was pressed against his own. There was nothing to distract him this time, though, seemingly no escape from the moment they had found themselves in. "It's okay. Really. You didn't do anything wrong."
"B-but..."
Nick silenced Clark's objection by pressing his lips against those of the smaller boy. Clark's eyes widened then melted into flutters as he and Nick shared a soft, lingering kiss. When they parted it was with cheeks flushed and gazes alight with excitement, both boys smiling shyly as each waited for the other to make the next move.
"I - " Nick, breaking the silence, only blushed more deeply at the cracking of his voice and the giggle it elicited from Clark. "I...I always wanted to try stuff like this with you when we were this young the first time, but...I guess I never worked up nerve to make a move. Do you...do you think we can make up for lost time?"
