"Mmmm, what have we here?"
Your heart skips a beat, and you can feel the blood drain from the new scales on your face.
At the entrance to the chamber towered a large dragon--bipedal in stature not unlike you, though his body couldn't have been any closer to the sheer definition of masculine when compared to you, and the silk robes of white and gold draped across him did little to obscure his musculature. As if the white scales didn't already make the contrast blatant enough.
You stare agape, not knowing what to say.
The being standing before you strode forward with a gentle smile, although to you it seemed rather sinister given his rather rugged face. Though his relaxed posture indicated he was clearly of no ample threat… at least, for the moment..
"No need to be afraid, little one," he reassured in a smooth, almost fatherly voice, "you are not in any danger."
He halted not further away from you, giving a subtle bow as he introduced himself, "I am Farhan, a humble servant of the Church of Jochia. I am happy to see that your prayers have been answered and you have found my sanctuary."
His smooth, warm voice flows into your ears like honey, and you are unable to resist as it draws you in.
But wait... church? You'd never heard of a church like that around town before...
"…You are here under very suspicious circumstances. Pray tell me what has happened to you…"
Shaking youe head, you try to formulate a response, yet your mind seems unable to process the words you want to say. Not like you've had a mouth with so many sharp teeth before...
The white dragon chuckles at your silence, though it is one of understanding. "Be not afraid, child. Your secret is safe with me. I am a humble servant of Jochia, and shall not dream of such things. However… I must ask. What is it that brings you here? Especially in such a scandalous condition?"
A shiver runs down your spine while your stomach churns, and you find your scales growing hot as you notice the dragon's eyes falling to your new, almost comically large set of equipment--and you try to show modesty by covering yourself with your hands.
He clearly seems to think you're more of a lost child than some kind of sinning heathen... and the clothes he wore appear pretty ancient, not that you even had any to compare at this point.
But it seemed he knew something he wasn't letting on, either...
You could deny it, lie to him and hope he doesn't ask more questions…but was it worth attempting? Denial might lead to suspicion… and you're clearly already suspicious enough with how you were seemingly no longer in some dinky cavern, but a church of some sorts. And you'd already desecrated it, surely.
But he seemed far too serene… a bit too welcoming… and what hell, a talking dragon? He wouldn't stop oogling you either...
