John looked over at the table with the two guys playing video games. He never really had any interest in the things growing up. Usually he'd make fun of the kids who had. When he was growing up, anything that wasn't to do with sports was met with some kind of hostility. Now, it almost seemed like it was the exact opposite. Students who didn't play at least some sort of video game were the ones seen as weirdos.
Thinking about it, John had always wondered why they would just play games instead of actually doing it in real life. Nearly every game seemed to replicate some kind of sport, or game that could be done with their actual bodies. But looking over at those two he realized, that maybe not everybody could. Those two weren't exactly in shape. And even though they were 18, they seemed to have the athletic prowess of an 80 year old.
As Coach McMahon, he's still supposed to be dedicated to them getting as in shape as possible. It seemed like that was an impossible task, as most kids wouldn't try or just expect to be incredibly buff after an exercise or two. That didn't even include the school lunches or the amount of junk they were always shoveling in their mouths. John let out a bit of a sigh, but thought about it a bit more. 'What if they were the character they were playing as? But what game are they playing?' He turned to the Chronivac, then back to the students. In a few seconds he'd find out.
